The approach road is not good and the room was full of mosquitoes. The electrical points were not functioning properly and my mobile charger got spoiled. The bed sheet had some stains and hair also. Overall, I expect the management to take care of the above maintenance issues, as the location, room size, bed and furnishing are good.

The hotel is good but can be maintained in a better way. It is very close to the Sarnath Museum. The staff were attentive and repaired the door lock and provided us a kettle and bathroom accessories promptly on request.

The rooms were moldy and unable to air, because they had soundproof windows (not possible to open) and the ventilation in the bathroom did not work. The aircondition is not able to do the job.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is in walking distance to the holy places and also quiet. We even had a view to a green field. So I really liked the hotel and hope, the management can improve on the humid rooms.

Room was very damp and smelt damp. Had to sit and wait to have breakfast as room was not big enough to accommodate a lot of people. Half the food was gone when I was able to get in. Also, the staff did not clear dirty plates up. Just stacked in a heap and left all day, the same as plates left outside rooms after room service.

It was a lot of moisture in the room, and some mold on the window but I think it’s regular for the town itself.

Communication before my arrival was pretty bad. they never answered my questions and I just received automatic messages from them asking me to pay in advance, which I didn’t do. End of the story I just payed in my check out. There is also an opportunity for improvement in regards to the taxi service offered to take me to Bodhgaya, they took a car that was not with the necessary documents to travel which holds us in the toll for about an hour and also the driver was quite unprofessional.

I had booked Treebo considering the brand name and reliability. As I reached the hotel, there was no staff at the reception, which I noticed was a common practice throughout my two night stay. The rooms are very poorly maintained, with basic cleaning not taken care of. The tiles in the washroom had black spots on it. The commode seat in the washroom was broken, with no regard of repairing it. A basic amenity of hot water kettle was not taken care of, with the kettle only being replaced after complaints. The breakfast was limited and tasteless. I thought of ordering eggs, but the staff claimed that this was a vegetarian hotel. The day I was going to checkout, I was waiting at the reception to pay the due bill. But, there was no one at the reception. Despite my repeated calls, no one attended. It seems like no one is bothered! Location wise, this hotel is quite far from the main city of Varanasi, so not only I would not recommend it for people who would like to travel everyday, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, nothing about this place was worth appreciating.
