IndiaService was not upto the mark. The water leakage through the Gun at Commode was very bothering (two nights). Shower was a problem, complained about it and no one showed up to fix. In-room service of Food was bad (Cold, average taste and on expensive side).
New and Contemporary room. Overall facility was good. If Service is fixed to be extremely pro-acticve, will visit again.

HungaryThe room doors close with a huge bang, so while the guests are walking around (and the members of large Indian families not only walk around at night, but also shout to each other from the rooms) the corridors are very loud, there is no chance to rest. The ventillation system and the AC are also very noisy. The walls, the bed linen and the towels were not spotless.

The staff were very good. They put the medications in the fridge for us. The room is big with good facilities. Room service staff are very good and responsive. We were given toilet paper without having to ask. Extra pillows and towels upon request. Bed sheets fairly clean. One green marker stain on bottom sheet. In regards to Indian hotels that we stayed at this one stands out. Very reasonable price. Great AC. Water pressure ok. Responsive staff. We called housekeeping and ordered extra water delivered to the room. Has a lift. Uma Mess restaurant onsite. Very good. Try the prawns 65.

ItalyFor the first time in Tamil Nadu people did not appear to be friendly nor greeted in any way. Treated distantly and coldly. Had a strange first time experience at checkout: after taking down luggage, giving back keys and having paid, we were forbidden and blocked from leaving hotel until they had not sent someone to check rooms. Only after been satisfied that all was ok in our rooms, they allowed us to leave!

IndiaTreebo kept on requesting for advance payment through sms, e-mail, WhatsApp etc. which was very annoying. I have never experienced this with any hotel booked with Booking.com, so far. The reception staff lacked smartness and looked morose and unsmiling. They can definitely do with some soft-skills training on Customer Management.
The rooms are excellently appointed and pleasantly decorated. Cleanliness of the rooms as well as the passageways, lobby etc. was also very good. There is ample car-parking. There are also nice restaurants in a 1-km radius. Most of the tourist attractions are at a convenient distance, by car.

IndiaThe room that I stayed in was very very large. Just loved it! I would want to stay in this hotel and that room every time I go back to Thanjavur. The hospitality was great - be it with accommodating dietary restrictions at breakfast, providing recommendations of what to do in the city, or booking an auto for us whenever we had to step out.
