South AfricaIt was very noisy until very late at night. The restaurant as listed on Booking.com had not yet even been built, which meant that, as we arrived late and did not feel too safe walking around in the neighbourhood, we had to go to bed without dinner. Breakfast is included in the rate, but is served at a very depressing pure vegetarian cafeteria down the road.
The hotel is very close to the train station which is a bonus. It was generally clean.

Germany- Very noisy, not from outside (had a room to the back), but from the hallway in the hotel. It wouldn't matter if you'd leave your door wide open, you always have the feeling of sleeping in the middle of noisy hallway. Permanently hear the sound of the lift, people talking, doors opened or shut. It's just impossible to fall asleep before 2 a.m. and then you get woken up between 6 and 7 a.m.
- Great South Indian (almost completely vegan) breakfast was included in my booking. That was really a highlight.
