Should have mentioned about that part " you need to put on your shoes/ carry them" because there's 10-15 mins uphill trek to reach the hostel.

Loved the experience. Have been to Darjeeling quite number of times but this place gave me a completely new experience and perspective. The food here is too good. I would stay in and eat food from the hostel. They mini parties and celebration . Everything is so warm. Will recommend this stay to everyone. And will come back to this stay everytime I go Darjeeling!

A few areas that could be improved but not an issue if you know about them before going: - would be nice to have a proper shower with wall mount for head and screen to stop the floor getting wet rather than a bath tub with a loose shower on a hose. - hostel is in slightly remote area so be prepared to walk approx 1H into Darjeeling town. Most guests came with motor scooters which is perfect for the area and would solve this issue entirely. -would be good to have under bunk lockers to allow guests to lock things away with own lock; the place felt very safe so was not worried about theft but an amenity that is expected for most hostels.

Beautiful location in the nature set aside from any busy areas. Very friendly staff and nice vibe from other guests, evenings spent together watching movies and socialising. Food was excellent and good variety. The rooms were kept clean, beds comfortable.

Good experience in this hostel. Just one thing negative for this property is that it's far from the centre. You can rent two wheeler or taxi to reach there and explore the city. Rest all things in this property was excellent.

The property is at offbeat location, lush green all around with an inspiring view of kunchenjunga. The staff is also really good. I booked for 2 days but later extended my stay due to excellent hospitality and offcourse the hostel environment. I highly recommend this if you are looking to stay in darjeeling.

Had a great experience. Neat and clean rooms with exceptional and friendly staffs and owner. The location is a bit far from the mall road but trust me, it's worth it. I only had one dinner here, it was delicious. Ultimately the best hostel stay I've ever stayed in.

What a great hostel. The staff were very friendly and made it feel like home- especially the owner. What a gem he is. The location is super quiet with a great view. They offer to taste local tea and to rent a scooter on site. The owner’s dog was a great and cute companion too!

Uniquely located property with the amazing and a very helpful host, Lopsang. I truly enjoyed my stay at the property. You can also rent two-wheelers right from the hostel. And if you are into trying local cuisines and drinks, you will find some great recommendations here. I also found the meals prepared by Javed quite delicious. I would definitely love to be back here.
