Staff was not good. We booked the property almost 2 month ago from the day of the visit. We tried calling the location before our visit they did not pick the call not tried to return the call. Once we visited there, the staff started saying we cannot allow you to stay, as you have family. And family is not allowed. Upon asking why they said it’s in the booking website. Upon asking why they did not make efforts to call back, they gave a very weird reason of being busy for 2 months. Finally after some time they allowed us to stay and asked my parents not to visit the restaurant. So we thought we will order and eat in our room. But no service to my surprise. The rooms were not value for money. 8k per room in a pathetic condition. I got sick in the room as the rooms condition was so bad. There was dust and damping smell. ( I could not take the photo of dust in the room ) Too bad we decided to leave the place without staying for entire 2 days as I got sick. But they did not return any money back. No way to take the luggage from the parking area to the place of stay as it is 400 meters away. I have visited Gokarna so many times but did not find such pathetic service.

The shared washroom was not clean, red ants near the tent area. No facilities provided in the tent, no pillow or bedsheet/ pullover, no small fan or charging point. They can charge a bit extra if needed but provide at least minimum comfort for the travellers. There were no lights in the tent area during the evening. We left the place in the evening and booked another place for the same day.

Location: The location is quite faraway from entry point of Gokarna beach. Cleanliness: Washroom weren't clean and the bedsheet when asked for change the person incharge said we don't change it regularly. Weird arrangement in washroom: The tap for bath is placed besides comode, instead of placing below shower outlet. Clearly a cost cutting measure is done there. Though I can this only about the dorm room No 3 near to reception area.

Fan is not working at medium & high speeds, sleepless nights, mosquitoes troubling excessively. No mirror in washroom. Shower and Wash basin hardly working. No timely response from property staff.

Everything, rooms were too small, not cleaned, no proper ventilation for 8 bed dorm, fans were not working properly, there was no mesh to the windows sobfull of mosquitoes, irritating night couldn't sleep. Wifi did not reach the dormitory. The wifi didn't even reach the front of the property towards the beach. Pillows were not good. Still have neck pain after a day. The bunk beds was squeaking everytime I turned.

Managers have behavioural issues, for every complain their response is fixed and that is, this hostel not hotel, as if this is my first ever stay in any hotel. She also asked me for activity in which we all have to reach to sunset point. I reached their but nobody came. It was very insulting.

I have nothing to say what i didnt like. Every day was perfect. It is close to the beach you can enjoy anytime. There is no restriction.

I had a very pleasant stay with Tripper. A solo traveler's face is more attuned to the vibe. It's a lot of fun to be with a tripper. My memories of three days have become so many that I cannot tell you in few words. Had a great time with Kushal and Sehar (Hosts), with them it felt like i am living with my old friends.Let's talk about rooms and beds. I booked 8 Doms for 3 days. The rooms were cleaned daily. Neat bedsheet and spacious bathroom with good shower. Generally, The condition of water supply and shower is not well in the hostel. But everything was perfect here. I would rate for wifi is 9.7/10. I had aalo paratha, Mushroom Omelette, Mushroom Pasta, fish, Prawas at the property only,was scrumptions. And last but not least, the most breathtaking sunset I have ever seen in my life so far.

Everything! Property managers Sahar and Kushal are amazing. If you are travelling solo, they'll make sure you feel comfortable and have a great time. The dorms were clean and the overall vibe was really fun but also peaceful. The hostel is right in front of the beach, and trust me, sitting on the hammock at night and just looking at the waves is a surreal experience you should not miss. In the end, I am grateful to have met some amazing people during my stay, all thanks to Trippr Gokarna and the wonderful hosts.
