Swimming pool a little cold for time of year, reception request for long distance taxi option not successful.

Breakfast is very average and really needs some variety. Thankfully they had a good coffee which was a surprise, otherwise it's mostly oily Indian breakfast with the only option to have eggs of choice. Overall I thought it's a bit expensive for what one gets as there are lots of options around at reasonable prices. Taxis from the hotel are expensive and I decided to use Ola which was much cheaper for auto or taxis..

I stayed at this property almost a decade ago. Rooms are nice, location is good,staff at breakfast/restaurant are polite.

Sorry guys I wanted to leave a 100% positive review but OMG the noise. At 7 am when the hotel wakes up staff starts banging doors and objects and yelling at each other down the corridor while they do the rooms. And it goes on most of the day. You really need to consider lowering down the volume for the guests peace. Acoustics of the building don't help for sure. Just that tweak and you'll be great.

This hotel was exceptional. In fact, it was my favourite place I stayed in India. It was utterly stunning. I was mesmerised by the interior design. The murals, the colours and the textures. I really would recommend this hotel for a real luxurious Indian experience. You truly feel like Royalty. We loved the grand door! The room was fantastic, with a dressing room, balcony and comfortable bed. The hotel sorted us with a fantastic driver called Mannu, who took us around Jaipur. I had a real spiritual connection to this city. Umaid Mahal was a great place to relax after a busy day in the city. You can switch off and have some peace. The breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent. A unique experience. Thank you for a memorable stay. I will definitely be returning again soon!

Bathroom has no separation of dry and wet areas. Entire bathroom becomes wet after a bath.

Staff in particular Mr Ajay Singh was extremely helpful. B/F was good and roof top restaurant is nice.

It was a short stay, but didn't find anything to complain about. Got a free room upgrade so can't complain. Everything is nice about this hotel. Gives you a royal feeling.

Rooms were neat and clean. Beds are traditional ones which shakes a bit, but still comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional with good variety. Courteous staff, great food, nice ambeince. Located centrally and have ease of access to nearby locations.

All staff greet you well and look after you. Beautiful rooms, beds are comfortable and each room has its own ensuite. I am back here for the last night of my stay in Jaipur. Will certainly stay here again.

The extra bed is very hard and not comfortable. The restaurant food was average and they did not seem to understand gluten free foods.

The hotel is very pretty and our rooms were large. Bathroom had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. We also had heat which was unusual and much needed in January. There was cultural dancing in the evening. The dancer and musicians were very good. I wish the hotel had a better space for the performers as the restaurant is too cramped. We ate a nice diner at Rasa a rooftop restaurant at a nearby hotel which we walked to. We had great service there. Highly recommend going here if you are staying at Umaid Mahal. Besides this we didn't explore the neighborhood and had a driver taking us to all the sites.

The hotel is like a mini palace. The staff were great, and the facilities were amazing. Our room was great, super comfortable bed and a hot powerful shower. The food was great and the pool was lovely. We would happily stay again. We extended our stay by another day it was so good. :)
