Nothing of real significance, but as I have worked as housekeeping in hotels in London( 5 years)…I will share my experience.. …the bathroom glass window still has the sales writing on it …the bathroom does not have a soap dish …the space between the bed and the desk it too narrow …there are marks on the wall around a few paintings …there is some mold on the right hand side of the bed..in the corner …no instructions for the use of the TV..

The breakfast was yummy and the reception staff, especially Mahal , were very helpful…your Greeter in the Carpark, deserves kudos, as he was hospitable the moment you arrived at the hotel via vehicle…

Reception staff were not well prepared or interested to help you organize the trip. For standard requests such as transport around Jaipur, we were suppose to wait for their "travel manager" or something like that to arrange it. At the end the driver took to the places we asked for, however one of the places we went was the Elephant village, which was a fantastic place, however we were overpriced and kind of ripped off as two tourists coming from far away, so it would be better to protect your guests and give them some insights before falling for some typical tourist scams. At the end we almost got late for our train to Agra, because the staff couldn't find us taxi or tuktuk for 15 mins, which is kind of ridiculous not be able to find a transportation in a city like Jaipur

Though we booked cab ( from Airport to Hotel ) one day b4 our trip, Umaid Mahal travel desk head ( Mr. Bhatia ) failed to arrange pick up cab @ Airport....then we managed to reach Hotel through Airport CAB. Recommending travelers to pick cab from Airport upon your arrival. It'd be a great support ( particularly to foreign nationals) & sign of professionalism , if Hotel Management offer FREE PICK UP & DROP services from Airport to Hotel...

We had a wonderful stay ( 4 nights/ 5 days ) @ Umaid Mahal & got friendly service support by their staff.... Location is very calm as it's in Bani Park residential zone, we believe. All prime tourist places can be reached easily from here, as we got Auto, Cab/Taxi @ any time, whenever we came out. Dr. Shah Clinic & Dr. Lal Path Lab are very close-by/ walking distance only, if/when we need medical support. Apart from Hotel Menu, we tasted South Indian food (IDLI/ DOSA) @ Collectorate Circle, which is just few minutes walking distance from Hotel.... In a nutshell, we had a memorable stay here. Thanks to all staff @ UMAID MAHAL.....

Good Place to sleep in Jaipur. Nice and delicious toproof restaurant with dancer in the evening. 15 /minutes by tuk tuk to the old city.

Since train was in the evening, I had asked for extension till 5. which was not given inspite of rooms being vacant. 3- to 4 hours extension can be given on this payment. There is no facility on internet to pay for half day.

No lid on waste bin in toilet

Quiet location but good for visiting tourist sites. Very nice and interesting decor. Pool was refreshing, small but great for cooling off. Evening entertainment with traditional Rajasthan music and dancing was enjoyable. Restaurant meals were tasty and reasonably priced.

The Sky Box didn’t work but we never told the hotel as we didn’t come to watch tv

Superb setup. Good welcome from all the staff. Super clean throughout - to a high standard not just the main parts. Stayed in a family room (4 of us) children aged 7 and 14 loved it. Plenty of room and the youngest loved sleeping in the window sofa bed. Water pressure in the room was the best I’ve seen at any hotel (including Dubai). Staff were attentive without being overbearing. Made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Small pool but perfect size for our kids - the us was a bonus.
