Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The double bed arrangement is managed by adding two cots. The bedsheet was not clean enough. They didn't provide any towels in the room. Payment was done as soon as I entered the room, but the staffs were asking for payment before I checked out. The owner should inform them clearly about the payment.
Really good value for money (the price I got). Room-size bigger than expected. Attached bathroom with western style toilet and 24 hrs hot water supply. Except the double bed arrangement they also provided an extra single cot. I would like to visit here again.

The room feels incredibly spacious, yet it gives off a strong hospital ward vibe. So I wouldn't describe it as cozy.
The accommodations were simple yet clean and the host was incredibly polite and always available to assist with any inquiries.

If other guest are loudly talking you can hear it loudly much in the room
The owner of the place is the sweetest soul you’ll stumble upon, and will help you with anything you need and more. And all the staff is amazing too. The room’s are simple but they meet your needs.

The beds were very hard and the bathroom only had a bucket and tap, no shower.
The owner was very friendly and helpful and messaged us before arriving to check we could find it ok. It was a good location halfway between station and the River. You will need to take a moto as the walk is a bit far. There was a terrace space to dry clothes we washed also. Wifi was a good speed.

It is a new homestay so it needs to have a lot of development yet, but that is okay. I had problem with some bugs and insects, but it wasnt that disturbing at all.
The owners of the homestay are super nice and extremly helpful, willing to give you lot of informations and tell you anything about Varanasi you wish to know. The location is nice and overall it is an authentic experience. It is very good value for your money.

I suggest the property to care a bit more about the cleanliness of the place. Sometimes mice can be seen wlaing around.
Simple room in a central area of Varanasi. The staff is really amazing, friendly and helpful, always ready to give filtered water. Location is Good if you don't want to stay in the rush of the inner city. There's everything you may need in here. Double bed, fan, cooler. Also a small kitchen.

Only negative is there one public bathroom for two rooms, another room has private bathroom.Me and one big family shared the bathroom,so we have to wait for usage of bathroom and I informed Mr.Abinav the bad odour is coming from restroom,but he didn't responded atleast he asked the attenders to use spray or odonil or any refreshners but he there is no cleaning of bathroom also done. There is no window in my unable to get the fresh air so often we have to keep the door opened. So kindly avoid that room.
1.Firstly i want to appreciate Mr.Abinav such a good and informative person what to do and what place to visit in Varanasi. 2.He gave detailed map(Print out)of temple to visit as including time and places to visit and guided me to reach the homestay.Thanks for that. 3.when u entered the homestay there was decrease in temperature when u r coming from 40°C + such a cool place I stayed in ground floor.

Though food is available all time in nearby restaurants, a small running kitchen inside the property would be a plus point.
Good and budget homestay. The property is almost 1.5kms from Kashi Vishwanath temple and Manikarnika ghat. Tea provided by staff Ajay & Babulal is good. The speed of the Wifi is far better than other homestay's where i have stayed before. Overall, I am satisfied with my experience of stay within budget.

They have 2 types of rooms. The room with attached washroom is spacious and big room. Whilst the room with non attached washroom is a bit smaller room. We were a family of 4 person and booked 1 room through the platform. The locality is peaceful, away from the city noise. Also, the nearby restaurants like - Shahi or Rasna restaurant is a must try. The owner of the property is really helpful , make sure to call the property before onwards to know about essential details of visiting the ghats & temples and the conveyance mode. The room, wasn't as accurate as the picture and the fan was very slow, and couldn't feel anything

Nothing , everything was fine.
We had a great stay at Vishwa Deva Homestay. The property is centrally located so it is convinient for anyone to visit any temples & ghats. Staff and manager is well behaved, helped us a lot in doing a late night check in. The AC in our room was working fine. Special thanks to caretaker Ajay for arranging e rickshaw for sightseeing.
