It was a nice stay in the hotel. The location is awesome as you can enjoy the view of the sea from your room. The sea is mere 20m from the hotel and it’s a beautiful beach. The food was amazing and they will cook according to the instructions from the guest. The staffs were very helpful and they took extremely good care for us.

Some furniture a bit basic but shower, air con all good

We had a wonderful stay here. Prince, Gabriel and Nidi were constantly attentive and great company. The food was outstanding - the tiger prawns, squid fry, salad and sardines the best meals we had in India. Breakfasts also fresh and tasty. Prince kindly organised a great theyyam tour with Jithin, memorable. The sound of the surf and smiles of the staff will stay with us.

The place and the ambiance was great. The beach is just a walk away which can be visited whenever we please. The beach doesn't get crowded (on weekdays at least) Mr Prince was available just a call away whenever needed. The rooms were clean as were the bathrooms. Additional towels, hot water and necessary stuff were provided without any hesitation

That we couldn‘t stay longer….

If Heaven is a place on Earth, it lies at Thottada beach and you can stay in the White Shell Beach House ! We ( travelling around in South India for already 5 weeks) totally enjoyed our days and enights here: From the early morning hot ginger drink( Hot water in a thermos jug esp. For me 🙏) to the delicious indian breakfast After the early morning swim, over the peacefull Rests in the well thought room ( the patent of the „curtain „ was invented by a Genius👍) to the seafood/chicken Dinner and the good sleep only „disturbed“ by the rolling of the Waves…. Thanks so much to Prince the thoughtfull and caring owner and espescially to Ninthi ( spelling?) the young and lovely good Soul of the place! We really would like to come back one day! Ramu and „Nanni“Diana🤗

The location was superb with a large airy room having a great balcony much larger than normal.The sea views were great, the food was all cooked by the owner and was tasty and plentiful. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. The Sandy beach was almost deserted ideal for morning and evening walks.

The hotel is in an amazing location beside a beautiful beach. The staff are lovely and the service was excellent. The breakfast was massive and very filling. Dinner was lovely. The room was very clean and comfortable. I had a very enjoyable stay.

Stayed 5 nights The location so close to a beautiful uncrowded beach. The view from the upstairs rooms are great We enjoyed catching the sunset from our balcony while having dinner served. The building is very quiet and calm and you hear the waves all day and night. The large bed is super comfortable and the air-conditioning was great. Hot water was also appreciated The food served here is really good and varied. You choose from a menu for dinner and the included breakfast is set and very filling. Prince and his staff are very friendly and accomodating. Prince was organised and helpful throughout our stay. He organised a pick-up and drop off to Kannur airport. Plus he organised a very good driver/guide for 4 days/ nights that took us to the Theyyam festivals which I thoroughly recommend. Jithink was the guides name All in all a very memorable stay.

The room we stayed in was really nice - better than the pictures and with a comfy bed and good AC. Prince and Nidi are great hosts and the food is very nice! Right near one of the most beautiful beaches we've stayed on. Don't expect it to be fancy but it's a great value homestay with good natures hosts.

White Shell Beach House is a lovely hidden gem a stones throw from the most beautiful beach. The staff were exceptional, the food delicious and we couldn’t have asked for a better location for a relaxing few beach days. Hope to be back someday!

The little White Shell Beach resort has a very coz y atmosphere. Prince and his team of two take care of their guests in an exceptional way. The food is great, the coffee even better. We got help when we wanted to see Theyyam. We were taken good care of. The place itself overlooks the sea so you fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves. The rooms are very affordable.

We enjoyed our stay at White Shell Beach house very much. The room was clean and bright. The staff especially, Prince were very cooperative and friendly. We are sure when we visit Kannur again we would be opting to stay at White Shell Beach house.

Not really an issue but there’s a small shop where locals like to hang out in front of the property (so between hotel and beach access).

If you’re looking for to get away from crowded, dirty beaches, this is the place! Quiet area (well except for a mosque close by), very friendly Prince and his young nice assistant Asju make sure you have what you need during your stay. Breakfast is included and very tasty! Asju made the best coffee I’ve had in India (3 weeks) & Prince asks for your dinner order mid afternoon so he can shop for fresh fish or whatever. Never ate anywhere else as everything was delicious and fair priced. I was supposed to have a short stay but with Prince’s creativity and accommodating mindset, he found a way which allowed me to continue enjoying their relaxing property - ended staying the entire week! Highly recommend!

Everything was ok

It was a place like heaven! The host and the staff were extremly friendly and helpful. The place Was so nice and clean. The food was marvelous, especially the fried banana for breakfast. Nothing to complain about that place. We had a great time there. The beach is beautiful.
