Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaGenerally, foods provided were excellent, but too much salt in certain items. During our stay, ZIP line was not available due to repair. Activity materials and grounds should be given face lift. WIFI shall be extended to rooms also.

United KingdomI tried the zipline but found it underwhelming and expensive for what it is.
We had an amazing time at Wild Planet! The surroundings are absolutely stunning, the tea plantation is beautiful and beyond that lies thick jungle in every direction. The way into the resort is really beautiful and the roads are fine, once you reach the parking lot you'll be picked up and taken into the property through the jungle on a 4x4. They also have special lodging at the parking lot for drivers to stay. If you're coming from the Bangalore/Mysore direction you will drive through the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve. If you go early in the morning you stand a good chance of seeing wild elephants or even tigers! We stayed at one of the valley view cabins, and found it comfortable and well equipped. It can get really hot inside during the day, but the A/C is good quality and can easily take care of it. The view from the balcony was incredible, I particularly liked sitting outside in the early morning and watching the mist slowly clear from the valley. The main lobby and restaurant are nicely decorated and the food buffet is quite good. It's almost all indian food and while it does vary day to day a bit it tends to be the same dishes. It could get monotonous after a while, but for a few days it's perfect. All members of the staff were kind to us and we felt really welcome. As far as activities go, we enjoyed the nature walks the most. Their guides are really knowledgeable and we saw all sorts of interesting wildlife and plants. The bird watching walk was a highlight for us. A couple other things to note: There is no mobile signal or WiFi anywhere except at the lobby/restaurant and the luxury cabins. I found this quite refreshing and it goes well with the general vibe of the place. Also, once it gets dark you're not allowed to walk around the property on your own (apparently snakes can be a problem) so you need to call reception and get a short jeep ride from the valley view cabins to the restaurant for dinner.

IndiaToo crowded due to long weekend. This made it look like any average city crowd, and bit noisy due to excessive vehicle movement required to carry around guests. Nothing much to do besides soaking in the greenery and fog, which could be tough on kids. A jungle experience for kids would have been good (but guess rainforests aren’t as safe). Given the charges rooms aren’t as upscale and any extra requests made them jittery! Room service is passable and can be vastly improved as guests don’t get to eat at the same time.
Off grid location. Rainforest experience was unique. Zip line was good. Food was good. Kids activities kept them occupied too for a bit. Experience of mist , fog , rain and greenery !

IndiaOne of the most amazing resorts I have ever been to right from checkin to checkout there was no lack in anything. Lobby & Rooms awesome, food superb, staff and hospitality wonderful, amenities exquisite 👌🏻 We had Mr Ashok who was our guest experience manager he ensured we are taken care even before reaching the resort he kept checking on our travel and also the E-pass to enter the jungle he guided us on that. Those who have low ground clearence cars will find difficult to travel the last 7 kms as it is off-road as government does not allow to build roads since it is dense forest. You can call the resort and inform them they will arrange your pick up or work something out for you. Staff is extremely helpful ♥️ Overall I would say go to this resort at least once in a lifetime do not miss it !!

United KingdomThe large patio doors on one side of the dining room was kept closed to avoid mischief from monkeys. This led to poor ventilation and at times unpleasant warmth in the dining areas. Netted protection could mitigate this problem, and other solutions could be found too. The bumpy ride in the facilities transportation from dining room to our villa was a bit of a challenge on a full stomach. We would suggest one sits around in the foyer long enough before proceeding to the room. All the same, multiple travel by hotel transportation to the dining facility is unpleasant. Smooth roads could partially mitigate this drawback. With the nature walks, a full explanation of trees and plants alongside the fauna would improve and widen the experience.
The villas with the balcony and the super roomy outdoorsy toilet and bathroom were extremely spacious. The daily provision of fruit and other supplies was a fantastic touch. The fit and finish of the rooms were exceptional. Plug points were fit for multiple foreign plug types. The lighting within the room was done to luxury specifications. The bed and pillows were super comfy. The foyer around the reception were a great place to hang out and catch the breeze. The dining facility was well tastefully appointed. The buffets on offer were elaborate, and the live cooking station promptly provided the extras. The staff were uniformly helpful and obliging. The security staff made reassuring calls on residents in the late evenings especially at the far flung guest facilities in a very dispersed property. The multiple aphorisms put up on boards provided titillation as well as wisdom. The large well lit bridge across a valley and a few covered look out points add a nice touch to premises. The long drive into the resort is in itself a lovely feature, with mountain peaks, valleys and tea and coffee plantations providing plenty of interest. The cherry on the cake was their in house naturalist, Mahesh, and his retinue of staff, who took the experience of the interested residents to the next level. Extremely well informed, he could provide insights of a tropical forest trail, and also provide a bird spotting walk in ways that would provide information not commonly procured in India. Mahesh is a true eco warrior, and a great credit to this facility. As it happened, our enthusiasm spurred him on to lay out a deep jungle walk that will be etched in our minds for ever. He even managed photographs from the walk, one of which was framed and gifted to us as a memento! What a lovely touch it was!
