First of all, this hostel asks for pre-payment in full, as soon as you book. Their cancellation time is also just 24 hours from the time of booking, and almost immediately, they send you an email with a link to pay the full amount if you want confirmation. And good luck if you try to call on the number listed! All my calls to the number were unanswered, especially, because I needed to check a few things prior to check-in, and also if my booking is confirmed. And once you get there, you see that the overall cleanliness is just average, and the rooms looked so dirty. The bedding was dirty and almost brownish. The bathroom looks big and clean, but it is anything but that - there is a foul smell that comes after one uses it for a bath. The common room is shoddy, and couches are stained and unhygienic. As a woman traveller, I found it a little scary at the start, because the reception man also looked like a worker there, and there were only men everywhere. Fortunately, by night, I had 2 other women in the room, so that helped calm me. Even at 10am, there was no one at the reception to check you out, just the sweeper who asked if any payment is pending!

The location! It is very close by to the heart of HSR layout, and also the BDA complex (especially if you are taking a bus to airport, because the KIA-7 bus starts from BDA). Because of it's location, finding food or ordering food is very easy.

1.No soap was available to purchase at the desk. 2. AC didn't work but they shifted me to better room. 3. Doors make lot of noise when opening and closing.

The property is poorly maintained and dirty. The sofas have a layer of dirt and grime. Shower curtains have black mold. There was a pigeon nest in the bathroom exhaust fan, and the room had a musty smell.

The property is on a busy road on HSR with lots of options for food and entertainment.

Small room with no windows or ventilation. Bedside light was not working. Bathroom door didn't lock. The staff gave no introduction of the property. Didn't get any locker key. Too much noise in the evening, not good for working people.

The place is not maintained. It's not clean, washrooms stink and there are worms, mosquitoes and flies all around. The jet in the washroom was broken before we checked in and even after repeated complaints, it wasn't fixed. There was no electricity and water for one whole day and the caretaker/manager didn't bother at all. In fact he was nowhere to be found to look into the issue. Imagine spending a night without water - both in taps and for drinking! The caretaker/manager guy is lousy and uninterested. The property used to be good but it's a shame how it has degraded in past 3-4 months. The money they are charging for this place is too high as well.

It's a convenient location and that's about it.

The doorlocks are not working. bathroom doesnot shutdown and locking is very difficult.
