Had a wonderful stay! The people were warm and welcoming, making the experience even better. The location is perfect—right inside the fort, peaceful, and close to all the main attractions. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the on-site café was amazing. Plus, the food can be customized to your preferred spice level. Highly recommended!

The washrooms are faulty, they are too tiny, looks unhygienic, and even have lizards. Even after complaining about it too the staff there were pretty casual about it which ruined our experience. You can only come half way in the fort, so the remaining distance to the zostel property has to be covered on foot as the lanes are too narrow that even an auto / rickshaw can’t enter, and we travelled the distance from fort entry point till the property on foot while we dragged 3 suitcases, so quite challenging.

The property is located at the top of the fort so you get a very nice view of the entire Jaisalmer city from there and the staff was nice and polite, they have an in house kitchen and the food is tasty as well as very well priced with decent quantity. Cleanliness is well maintained and people are welcoming.

The food in the cafe can do with some improvement. we tried the manchurian and chowmein - latter was great; the street kind that’s tasty; however the manchurian was a little burnt.

It’s a beautiful property inside the Jaisalmer fort, it feels like you’re living a different era altogether. The staff is very very friendly and helpful. The views from the many common sitting areas is mind blowing - it’s the views from the fort itself so it’s the best view in the city. Our private room was very beautiful, with stone walls and a heritage-y traditional look.

YOU MUST BOOK. This place is epic!!!! Best location ever, right inside the fort. Every afternoon we had chai from the Zostel cafe on the terrace overlooking the city at sunset. It was such a privilege to stay in a grand monument. Narendra and all the other staff were so attentive and exceptionally helpful. They booked everything for us, including our desert safari, and carried all our luggage. The food in the cafe was AMAZING!!!!! This place is epic value for money with delightful service. I can't wait to visit again. Thank you :)

The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest unfortunately.

The staff, the location, the delicious food and opportunity to meet and mix with loads of locals who only enriched my experience. Be sure to book the overnight desert safari with the team here, you won’t regret it!
