“The place was amazing, with a very nice view to the beautiful town and the harbour! The rooms were well equpped and warm, comfortable and clean. The staff was really nice and helpful. The hotel itself is very well maintained, it offers a lot of information and the design inside was very nice.
Higly recommend!
P. S. If you have enjoyed the movie "Eurovision", in the bar next to the hotel (which is named after the famous song from the movie - ja ja ding dong), there is a museum with an exibition of the props and on the other side of the entrance of the hotel, you can find the little elf houses fron the movie, very cute. I think the exibition will be there for 2 more years (this info needs to be double checked though). Opening hours are strange, so make sure you give a call to make sure when when a visit will be possible.”
“Such a beautiful hotel in Husavik. Very affordable and a good location ! The room was spacious enough for us to easily open our 2 big suitcases. We had both a bathtub and a shower in our room and it was very appreciated after lots of driving and hiking. Super comfortable and clean. And we were minutes from the marina for our Whale watching tour. Hotel has a nice bar and restaurant too.”
“Great location! Great owner! We got the sea facing rooms 201 amd 202 great views of the sky and cityscape. The owner is a wonderful guy Erie who is enthralling with his stories and history of the area. Not much in terms of facilities, its an old place but not rundown. Basic facilities but good quality toiletries. Not very modern but goes well with the vibe of the places. Very good place to stay.”
“Arbol Guesthouse is the cutest guesthouse I stayed at in my entire Iceland holiday. You got everything you need in your room, everything was pretty clean, the design of the interior was beautiful and well elaborate and the hostess was so welcoming. She gave me a lot of advices for things to do in the area and where I still wanted to go. She's a local and pretty well known with Iceland (hiking, awesome spots and more beyond that). In the morning you got free coffee, juice or tea, some cookies and bananas for everyone who'd spend the night there.”
“Great location, short walk from the town. Stunning views over the harbour and mountains. Easy check in, key left at front desk with name, room number and WiFi. Room was spacious with kettle. Free parking.”
“Google Maps took us to the wrong house, but we found it using pictures in booking.. instructions were correct just google maps had husavik apartments at a different address so use the address from Booking. The apartment was nice and spacious with an excellent view. We made a nice dinner and watched netflix, felt like home and had everything we needed. We watched the Eurovision: story of fire saga movie and it was cool to stay in a house that was in the frame. 10/10 would book again.”
