“Free breakfast included! I didn't expect that, and it was a lovely surprise. Continental style buffet breakfast with bread and toppings, cereal, fruit, yoghurts, tea/coffee. Had some vegan options but we did finish the oat milk and seemed they didn't have any more of that. Would have been nice to have like peanut butter or something more plant-based protein-rich, but again, we didn't expect any and got fed well.
The rooms were spacious, self-regulated heaters. Very good blackout curtains - absolute darkenss with bathroom door closed and both blinds drawn.
Beds were comfortable with nice warm blankets.
Kettle in room, some choice of black tea/coffee.
Right in the centre of Suðureyri (not that the place is large anyway).
Nice wide cupboard to unpack clothes/other stuff into.”
