The only thing that was less than ideal was our own fault. The room had heated floors and was very warm, which made it difficult to sleep. In retrospect, if we had cracked a window open it would have been perfect.

The location is a perfect spot close to the Ring Road, but far enough away to feel like you have solitude. It was nice to chat with other guests in the common area and the morning waffles were just what we needed to give us fortitude to fight with nature, as our host said. :)

As advertised, fresh waffles were served in the morning. I would have also appreciated a few extras such as fruit, skyr, etc. (nothing fancy) and would have been willing to pay a little more for that.

Convenient, quite, rural location, yet just a few km from Hella and the Ring Road. Exceptionally clean, modern, nice size room with private bath, table and chairs and wardrobe unit. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent lighting. Sufficient electrical outlets for charging my devices. Good WiFi. Staff were very responsive to messages via booking.com.

Loa‘s Nest is by far the best accommodation we had in Iceland. From wonderful hosts, parking, the beautiful house and rooms, the bed and pillows were heavenly, kitchen, free waffles, coffee and tea, everything actually!!! It was my second visit and will stay here again when I come to Iceland in the very near future.

We loved everything about our stay. The hosts were so friendly & helpful. We also met their son who does a great job helping out with running the guest house.They cooked us delicious waffles for breakfast & gave travel information and maps. Everything we needed for a warm & relaxing stay was there, including games, books, etc. Our favourite place to stay in South Iceland.

This was without a doubt the best accommodation that we had in Iceland (have stayed in another ten locations). Very spacious and nice apartment, beautiful view to a nice garden, spacious large dining / breakfast area. The owners were very kind and it was obvious they enjoy running the guesthouse. Spacious parking, free wifi. Fresh waffles in the morning were amazing. I can highly recommend staying here even for longer than one night. Very well equipped shared kitchen.

The view was absolutely perfect, and the location was just ideal. The owners were incredibly kind and hospitable, even preparing amazing pancakes for everyone, despite there being no breakfast included in the offer. The place was very clean, cozy, and felt just like home. We arrived later than expected, but the keys were waiting for us, and everything went smoothly. The large showers, well-equipped amenities (hairdryer, towels, bedding, etc.), and comfortable beds made our stay even better. On-site, there was coffee, tea, cocoa, oatmeal, and a fully equipped kitchen available. The stunning mountain view and breathtaking sunsets were unforgettable. The area is very peaceful, perfect for relaxation.
