The only thing we didn't like was the fact we couldn't stay longer.

An amazing place, beautifully designed and decorated. The sweetest owner, so welcoming and kind. The place smelled so clean and fresh, the surrounding area was beautiful! We loved every second of it.

Loa’s Nest had a personal touch that we didn’t experience anywhere else we stayed throughout our 10 day trip in Iceland. The room was immaculate and the common area was a wonderful space to relax or converse with others. The black out curtains were perfect for getting a good night’s sleep and the waffles & coffee in the morning added a nice personal touch. The owners were present in the morning and offered their knowledge and expertise regarding the area and things to do. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Loa’s Nest!

It was an excellent and homely place to stay – great location, clean room, comfortable bed, shared kitchen and spacious living & dining area. The hosts are warm, friendly and very helpful. We had freshly-made, delicious waffles with homemade rhubarb jam and tea for breakfast. Out of all the places we stayed in Iceland this was one of the best.

We liked everything about it!

10/10. Great place, rooms just right and very comfortable beds. Lobby/common area perfect and excellent hosts. Waffles and coffee in the morning really appreciated. Ask for the Google Map link with all the sites in Iceland pinned with descriptions. You’ll find some great places you didn’t know about!

Very nice room with plenty of space. The hotel is managed by a lovely couple - Unnur and Ingi, and they were both very helpful and kind during our stay. Every morning they provide the guests with coffee and delicious waffles! Also, it's not very far from the Golden Circle attractions.

Amazing guest house! We arrived quite late and were welcomed into a warm and cosy home. Check in was super simple with great communication from the host. Room was spotless and facilities were fantastic. The homemade waffles the next morning were wonderful. Definitely book if you are in Hella!

Unnur and the rest of the staff were friendly, helpful and wonderful to meet. Unnur suggested places to visit and spoke lovingly about her country. The rooms were ultra clean and comfortable and the breakfast waffles and the homemade rhubarb jam were delicious! My family and I would definitely stay here again.

Not a thing. Wonderful place. And being Iceland of course it was windy and cold but you wouldn’t know it walking inside. And all the birds nesting and flying around made it so special.

It was absolutely the best stopover for every reason. What an amazing family operating this sweet rental place. Made you feel like you were just home and happy and everything you needed and everyone came together in the morning to meet and chat and become friends. What a special place!! Anyone coming through here would absolutely miss out if they missed this place. Just wonderful! Can’t say enough about it.
