What an experience staying in two lovely quaint barrels. So unique. We love finding different places to stay. It was so warm and cozy inside the barrels with a lovely bathroom, and the outside shower room was spacious and very warm too, with lovely fluffy gowns. We had the place to ourselves so we didn't share the shower room. Sùsannah was so welcoming and responsive online. Such friendly dogs, and a brief sighting of the cat. And what a treat to sit in a hot tub under the stars looking at the Northern Lights when it was freezing outside! Our teenage just girls loved it! Wish we could've stayed longer.

Unique experience in nice and cosy bungalows. There are toilets inside, which was really nice! We thought the toilets would be outside with the showers, but this was not the case. There is a hot tub, but we were so tired that we didn’t go inside it. It is really cool though! The owner was super super nice, she has two cute dogs and a cat who greeted us. On the lawn is a stone and mineral collection of her sister who found them around Iceland. Supercool! We love these kind of personal touches to such locations. It was nice and quiet. A bit windy, but that’s the season. The bungalows are very sturdy. So no issues there. If I had to name something that I missed, it’s only that the beds are separate, so there is no shared two person bed. But we knew this before we booked it.

Easy time find and the cabin was so cute and cosy! The location is idyllic - so peaceful with Icelandic horses in adjacent field. The shared kitchen was well equipped and the shower hut was just right too. All little comforts had been thought of, including slippers and gowns! You'll need a car to get there and watch out for the potholes on the little road leading to it - price you pay for the beautiful location! There was also a hot tub - very warm and inviting although we didn't use it as we had spent the afternoon in Sky Lagoon and were ready for bed really (only stayed one night).Highly recommend, thanks

It’s a pity we didn’t catch the northern lights—it would have made our experience even more magical.

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was super cozy, well-maintained, and spotless. We especially adored the hot tub, which was incredibly romantic and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploration. The dogs were adorable and added a special touch to our stay. Everything was perfect for a true Icelandic getaway, and we highly recommend it, 100%!

Incredibly cosy and the location feels quintessentially Icelandic. Just a 10 minute drive away from Selfoss, which has ample amenities (cafes, shops, pharmacies, petrol stations). Ideal if you want to explore some of Icelands amazing nature, for example what the south Coast of the Island has to offer. Warm & welcoming hosts, with ample facilities. The cabins are adorable and more than anything they are lovely and warm! 10/10, would love to come back.

I loved everything about this place, it’s so cosy, confortable and clean. I had only one night and was so sad I couldn’t extend and stay there longer. The host is so nice and helpful. You can enjoy the hot tub while looking at northern light and have a good rest inside the room where you’ll find everything you need to enjoy your stay. Wifi connection is working well. You have to visit!

it was a rustic little spot on private property. Although the units are small, they are comfortable. There is a seperate unit for showering and a seperate kitchen that you have to walk to, but it is on the property. We saw the most magnificant northen lgihts right outside our door.

The property is located in the country side and surrounded by nature, it is quiet and relaxing and a perfect location to enjoy the Northern Lights. The host is nice and we had a warm welcome. The rooms are very comfortable and there is also a kitchen to prepare your meals. We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful guesthouse
