Awful communication with owner - we asked for tips round NYE and got ignored. Was not told where to leave bins so had to leave our food waste in the outside bins for the public on the sidewalk. Dishes were dirty when checking in for the first time. Smell came from the shower/ drains as soon as you switched on the shower. Safe isn’t ideal, can be picked up with ease.

Close proximity to town centre, ideal for walking around town. Bed was comfy - had Netflix (which you had to sign into your personal account) Key box was very handy Overall clean apartment accept smelly shower and dirty dishes

It's a 5th floor apartment in a building without lifts. Not suitable for guests with mobility issues or very heavy luggage. Please advertise this on the booking so guests can be aware. Other than that, great apartment.

We wanted to use the oven tray to cook something but it was very dirty, clearly not washed from the previous usage. There were also no sponges to wash the dishes, and it was hard to wash with the provided brush.

The apartment is on the 4th floor, the stairs are very narrow, so it was challenging to carry our luggage upstairs.

The only negative would be the eggy smell from the shower. I know you can’t avoid it in Iceland but we stayed in two other places and the smell wasn’t a fraction as bad in those. It made us quite uncomfortable when quickly showering and the smell lingered for a long time. The stairs weren’t a problem for us and are worth it to get to the apartment!

The apartment was really beautiful, well kept and super comfortable. Home from home! It felt cosy and made us want to spend more time in the property, the sleep and storage space was 10/10 too!

The bathroom had an incredibly unpleasant smell, like raw sewage. When I flushed the toilet, I could hear water in the shower drain, like the waste water had been plumbed together with the shower. It made me not want to use the shower for fear of raw sewage. I kept the door to the bathroom closed as much as possible.

Great living room and bedroom - very comfortable and felt like a home away from home! I didn't cook in the kitchen, so i can't comment on that, but there is a supermarket nearby to stock up.

There wasn't a lift so dragging a lot of suitcases would have been more difficult. And PARKING was a pain, but its a pain all over Reykjavik. A quick note of useful parking garages might be helpful rather than just looking for a street with an open parking spot with the payment app.

It was nice having our own space. This was for a quick overnight, so can't say I put this place through its paces, but location was really good, and having access to a kitchen and living space separate from the bedroom was useful as we repacked for the flight.

The apartment was excellent, just need to know that it is on the fourth floor....lots of steps. Could be difficult with a heavy suitcase.

The shower drain system was not effective/ led to the entire bathroom flooding; the floor should probably be redesigned with a sill.

The location is perfect, and the flat is ideal for a functional stay. Really nothing to complain about at all.

Bit of effort to lug bags up stairs. No parking outside apartment, but could drop off bags and then park elsewhere.

Our apartment was on the 4 floor without evevator and the stairs were narrow and steep.

Nice and warm apartment, kitchen equipped with everything needed (but a microwave). There is a common laundry room in the basement containing 3 washing machines(detergent is also there) and ironing facilities.
