Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Having two single beds instead of 1 double beds. I would have preferred having a double bed.
Having a nice furnished kitchen, several bathrooms with showers, and even a living room with couches, a TV, and an hdmi cable to put on whatever we wanted to watch.

There were a couple of small holes in my sheets and one of my towels had some stains on it, but they smelled clean.
It's great that they offer shuttle service to the airport, makes it easy. Unlike other places to stay around the airport, this is actually in a small town so you have some options if you want to grab some food and drinks or just wander around. The room is very basic, but the bed was comfortable and the room had its own sink. For a night near the airport, it does the job.

Just the shower who had a broken piece but that's just a little detail
The Host was very reactive and nice to all messages, the check in and out was very easy. The room with three bed has a comfortable space and we also enjoyed the breakfast

- one shower was broken (only very hot water) - another shower was down the hallway, which worked fine, though an information would have been nice - accommodation pricing in Iceland is disproportionate anyways, but 173€ for one night was a prime example of how capitalism works
we were picked up from the airport at 1am without problems - breakfast was simple, self-service and well supplied - room was big - located in walking distance within Keflavik to points of interest

Breakfast is fine. It is self service. The accomodation is pleseant. The kitchem is available for cooking making coffee and so on. Rooms are fine.

The walls and doors were quite thin, so people across the property could be easily heard.
the staff were super accommodating of my early arrival. At one point, I fell asleep on the couch, and the cleaning lady found a blanket and covered me with it. That enough would be reason to go back.

Basic but very clean facilities, sink in room, tv, shared bathroom. The guesthouse provide a free morning shuttle to the airport (pre arrange it) which saves a £20 taxi. Great.

No extra breakfast food
The location was close to the airport. Please be aware that unless you book with a tour group it's advisable to rent a car because this location is far from the actual city and there's not much close by and the bus system is sketch....so opt for car rental!!!

Sadly the shower in the bathroom next to our room was broken, but there is a recently renovated one at the other end of the hall.
B&B guest house comes with a comfortable sitting area downstairs and a shared kitchen which seemed to be well stocked and has coffee and tea facilities. It is within walking distance of the beach and a couple of sights as well as restaurants. For us the biggest bonus is the free airport transfer and the early breakfast.

Nothing to dislike. This is basic accommodation at a good price and excellent.
The management is excellent. Location near Airport excellent. Car parking plentiful. Room is big and clean with ensuite. Breakfast is on a help yourself to cereal, cheese, ham and multiple hot drinks and cold from machines. All available very early for those with flights. We stayed 4 nights and it is a good location for tourism and close to airport for the early flight. The room also had a sink, microwave, kettle, fridge and everything for self catering, but we ate at nearby restaurants. Very pleased with the accommodation and those involved. Would choose to stay here again.

there really was no one to check you in or out so it was very difficult to ask questions. also the location was further away then one is led to believe. definitely need a car.

I would recommend that guests bring an extension cable if you have multiple devices as it seems like most rooms only have one or two power outlets.
The room was quite basic but clean and very nicely laid out for arriving guests. The host was incredibly responsive upon our arrival. For the price and proximity to the airport in Keflavik, I'd definitely stay here again. There are a number of good places to eat very close buy as well as excellent proximity to grocery stores including a 24 hour convivence store (Krambuðin). Checkout was easy and painless.

The B&B Guesthouse was very clean, and the perfect location to have a brief stopover during my 17 hour layover on the return trip home. I didn’t want to spend the night in the airport alone, and the guesthouse was perfect to get some good sleep while feeling safe.

Limited breakfast snack options.
Utilised the airport pick-up - was glad they offered it! I landed at 1:20 am and there is nothing open. The host was already at the airport waiting for us. Nice room and with a small bathroom.
