Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandLike everywhere in Iceland it’s pricey.
A nice simple hostel. Clean, quiet, good for a place to stay. Not a party hostel. Good location

NetherlandsSeems like you have to take an elevator to be able to enter and exit. I could not find the proper stairway.
Amazing location, and just a very well renovated, well though-out hostel. The common kitchen area has an amazing view. Everything felt very modern and secure. It was perfect for a hostel stay.

IrelandPrivacy curtains for the bunks would have been nice. Also, not the property's fault, but my room had a few inconsiderate guests who would slam the door in the middle of the night but that's the risk you run with all hostels!
Location was great, staff were really helpful, and good value for money overall

United KingdomThese are generally quite minor: An underbed box would have been very useful, maybe being able to padlock it (would be a good substitute for the shoebox-sized safe). A bed side light would have been handy. Would have liked something similar to curtains by the bed, for a bit of privacy/cover from the dorm light at night
Great location, good kitchen facilities, lift/elevator to all floors (required to enter, but nice to have after a busy day!). Reception told me what I needed to know about staying here. Generally satisfied!

IndiaKitchen could be a little better appointed- most of the utensils are worn. Showers and washrooms don't have towel racks or hangers.

TaiwanThe entrace to the correct hostel can be a bit tricky to find.
Free parking and elevator is a huge plus. The room itself was quite small but plenty of space in the common room to hang out and chill so not a problem. Spacious bathrooms (wish they had hooks to hang our clothes and towels though). Friendly staffs.

TurkeyI had difficulty to enter into hostel when I first arrived at 01:00 a.m.although I was given entrance door code, I was trapped as elevator did not work. Me and other 2 guest had to search and wait for half an hour to find someone to allow us in. It was annoying to face this in the middle of the night.
Location is great.

AustraliaThere wasn't really anything I noticed that needed improving on.
It was a nice space. Really good Kitchen facilities and spacious areas. The beds were typical hostel level, but it was definitely worth the money. Such a good location in Reykjavik as well; two minutes and you're in the centre!

United KingdomSome guests using saucepans to eat from rather than plates preventing others from preparing meals. No pegs in the showers I used to hang clothes and towel. Kitchen area untidy as inevitably a small minority aren't able to clean up after themselves.

HungarySome bigger storage for clothes and belongings during the stay would be very useful.
Very good location, everything is in walkable distance. Grocery stores are also available with 5 min walk. Kitchen view is to the famous church! I saw the staff cleaning the whole place, and it was extremely thorough. You will not find any fingerprints after they are done! Heating was on all the time, you will not be cold ( I was worried about this) Altogether it is a good hostel for short stays, I recommend.

FinlandWe had an exceptional corner room filled with light on the top floor with a view of the church and very good connections. We were visiting for a conference at Harpa, which was just a brief walking distance away. What a lovely place all in all, the kitchen worked perfectly. Very friendly staff and neighbours, could not have asked for anything better.

United StatesOnce a guest filled the coffee maker to the BRIM with the free coffee provided. This has nothing to do with the hostel, but just a note that not all guests know how to use a coffee maker. 🥲I left a note so hopefully it doesn’t happen again.
I enjoyed my stay and the Wi-Fi and kitchen were great! I loved the free food bin which I raided regularly. The beds were comfy, and a complimentary towel was provided which most hostels don’t have! Plus free coffee and tea!!
