It was lovely to stay here, it felt like a home, it's cosy, clean and spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a cafe on the ground floor that has amazing cakes with gluten free and vegan options.

Gorgeous homestay with an amazing view of the water in Borgarnes!! Very cute shared spaces and everything was well-supplied for an easy and cozy night stay. We started our morning at the amazing cafe downstairs and the staff was all super kind and welcoming - we definitely want to come back soon!!

Really friendly host in a beautiful location. Borgarnes is a great base to get out and discover this part of Iceland. The accommodation is a real home from home place to stay.

Literally everything! The rooms and the bathroom are so comfortable and cozy, beautifully decorated. There's everything you need there. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Probably the best accommodation I have ever stayed and I have been in many over the last 20 years. I highly recommend this place!

A wonderful location with an amazing view. The shared kitchen and living room are absolutely charming. Room is spacious and the beds are really comfortable. The cute decoration makes the room very cozy. The bathroom is small but all amenities are available (shampoo, soap, hairdryer...) . The hot water is pumped up directly from a hot spring (but that means you have a slight sulfur scent). Location is close to the Settlement Center and approx. 5 minutes drive from supermarkets and restaurants.

The people are really nice and the place was really cozy with amazing Christmas decorations. The room was really tidy and clean. They also provide toiletries and towels. They also have good parking spaces available nearby. They have the best sandwiches and panini and also waffles just below the room, in their restaurant.

Nothing. I loved everything about this place and I'm one of the toughest customer out there who never leave a review. The owner was so kind and her dog was the bestest and cutest of doggos. Just look at his ears! We checked in really late and she was warm and welcoming. It felt like you were being welcome home from Grand Mama after being away for a long long time. Found out she was well travel person and had lived in Thailand for awhile. The decorations and the lighting was just so well placed and put together. All the staffs were so lovely as well. If I ever come back here to Iceland, I will go out of my way just to stay here again. The price was soooo cheap for the value provided. I had stay at a 5 star hotel for much more and you couldn't even compare it to this place. It was definitely a blessing to find this place and I am so grateful for the amazing experience. Thank you once more for everything!

The breakfast was divine! Get the bacon and brocolli quiche if you want to feel heaven in your mouth! And top it off with a (s)expresso (read their description of it! The owner surely did not lie! The food was so good that I had to order a extra panini!

There was only one bathroom, without separated toilets, For 3 rooms. The light in the room was very weak. The window in the room opens to an interior area. The room is small.

The house was decorated with love, it felt that it was important for the hostess that we'll enjoy from the apartment. The bathroom was big, renovated and equipped. A comfortable and fully equipped kitchen. We saw the northern lights right from the apartment yard.

What an inspired choice Blómasetrið proved to be. We'd visited the eruption site at Reykjanes en route from the airport and Borgarnes was the ideal stopping off point at the end of a long first day. We enjoyed drinks & cake in Kaffi Kyrrð before enjoying the stunning views the surroundings. The rooms & facilities were perfect for our stay and the amazing decoration of the lounge and cafe were delightful. Katrin and the staff could not have been more welcoming and provided great service

The room was a little bit dark, no natural light coming to the room, the window was somehow taped with foil or paper.

It felt like home in shared areas, very beautiful. Also, the property was very clean and all amenities necessary were there.
