This guesthouse is amazing! It felt like we were in another era, very cozy and charming. And there is a cute cat wondering around the place! Breakfast was very good. I highly recommend this place!

Room with concrete walls and floor.

A great location out in the country and they have a nice parking lot with plenty of room. The property was clean and well maintained. There is good visibility to see the northern lights at Bru Country. It was our first time seeing the lights. The evening meal that can be purchased was delicious with a large variety of foods and salads. I loved their dining room with all different kinds of dishes used. Their Iceland breakfast of cold cuts was served as a lovely buffet. We were surprised at our room with the price we paid of $375 US dollars as it reminded us of a "bunker" with the concrete walls and floor. We had heat to take the chill off. We were in a separate building from the check-in.

Amazing location perfect for an early wake up to snorkel the Silfra! Staff were amazing and got extra towels for us to use in the hot tub. Hot tub was warm, clean with great view of the mountain and stars. Room was spacious, clean and warm. We took a 100m walk down the lane at night and saw the northern lights!! Breakfast was fresh with lots of options, would highly recommend!

Fascinating lobby and restaurant filled with antiques and memorabilia. The dinner buffet was the most memorable of our entire Iceland trip. The dining room was beautiful and the buffet had many distinctive vegetable dishes all clearly home cooked and unlike the more standard fare at other hotels. The mushroom soup was outstanding, I went back for seconds and thirds. The 3 meat dishes lamb meatballs, veal, and locally caught fish were all well prepared and tasty The hotel is only 14 minutes by car from Thingvellir National Park, perfect location

Breakfast buffet was perfect to sit down and then hit the road. The location was amazing, right near the national park and fairly quick access to Ring Road.

The hotel is very nice and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The room is small but perfectly fit our stay. We have 2 big luggages. We love to meet pets there too, they are very cute.

What a beautiful place in a stunning location. Perfect spot for the Northern lights. Clean and warm room. Breakfast was a great selection of.food.woth fresh Skyr. Quirky but beautiful lobby with available games. Near national park and Silfa.

Everything worked out

Nice place to stay near Selfoss. Breakfast was good. The location is 30 minutes away from the Kerid crater. Also close to pingvellir national park. The amenities inside the apartment looked regal.

Very cosy accommodation away from the crowds. Breakfast has a bit of everything and we also paid for the dinner. It was a bit expensive but very tasty homemade food. I recommend it!

Beautiful location, reception area and breakfast really well furnished and suggestive. The view of the Icelandic fields with grazing horses are the frame. Warm and clean room beyond expectations. There was also a kettle with coffee and tea. Simple breakfast but good. Wonderful the free hot tube in the evening under the stars.

We loved this place! The beds were super comfortable, the location was so pretty and the staff were very nice! The dinner was absolutely delicious! Loads of local dishes and served buffet style. We felt like we had eaten at Grandma’s. We had a lovely visit and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!
