Some people are inconsiderate and would let the room door go, which would cause it to slam and make noise.

It was my first time at a hostel and I only spent one night since 3 of my friends were staying there and we were leaving on a cruise the next day. It was ok for me, because I usually stay at hotels.

It really need more toilets per floor

Great location, nice facilities. I was traveling alone and this was a great accommodation choice since all tours and the transportation from/to Airport have a stop here, it is 25 minutes walk to the downtown, there is a mall (with a Bónus supermarket) 10 minutes away, which is really convenient. Staff was kind and really helpful, I recommend this hostel.

- it's missing a shelf on the bed on which you can put telephone and similar stuff. It's a small thing but incredibly useful - no proper space in the room in which you can put your luggage. They were on the floor everywhere (20 people), quite dangerous especially in the night and you can make confusion - difficult mechanism to open/close the door. Half of the people need to try 2-3 times before close it and can easily wake you up. - shower room doesn't have a bench or something similar in which you can put your dress so you need to be a contorsionist

The only thing I did not like was the bus booked for leaving the hostel to the airport. The driver had a weird behaviour with me. When I was taking my luggage, after going off the bus, the driver - who was a black glassed, tall and elderly man - asked me “is it yours (the luggage)? “and I answer of course yes. It appeared he was mocking on me or something, even he had seen when I put the very luggage in the store of the bus, it was the only one with the same features. I believe the hotel should train better the driver so avoid this weird and uncomfortable incidents probably driven by prejudices. The bus was the scheduled for 1:00 pm on 18th August.

Bedbugs. Bedbugs and more Bedbugs. If you want to go home with bedbugs and you need to put all your stuff away for weeks maybe months, with a lot of inconveniences when you return home, with bad smell, loud noises, with a door they smash on your face every 15 minutes, you should defenetly choose this place. Is ugly, noisy and you return home with bedbugs. The smell is so terrible that is disgusting and is almost impossible to sleep. I wouldn't return there not even for a million euros. Personal is friendly but who cares if you go home feeling like shit after having some wonderful days in Iceland. Thank you for runing our return.

This place is terrible. it has bedbugs. I really don´t have anything positive to say about it. The only thing that you could say is valuable is that there is a bus direct to the Airport. But maybe you should consider sleeping in the airport before staying here.

The bedroom facing east has very little protection from sunlight during the white nights and poor ventilation, so it was impossible to sleep in the morning because it was very light and hot.

It is very convenient that there is a shuttle from the entrance to the airport. It is perfect for the beginning or end of a trip to Iceland.

Really liked my stay here. Nice and clean hostel. Rooms had lockers (bring your own lock). Although beds with spring were a little soft for me. Overall it was a good experience. Nice staff. and they let me put my luggage in locker before check-in, which was super helpful.

About the Airport transfers in the night time very poor and very sad. We were first time & asked several times about the arrival transfer, the receptionist said not to worry someone is arrival lobby and to meet him but we were waiting 01 hour but no one was there. So the shuttle bus parking at front of the hotel but they are failed to to make the transfer for their clients, very sad and highly not satisfied.

Very noisy in the night, uncomfy beds and overcrowded dormitory. Definitely not a good value and service for the price. It's near a busy bus station, with overnight truck deliveries, and some people were even playing music instruments at 1 am in the morning in a room underground (????).

The bunk beds aren’t numbered so when you get to your room it’s up to you to figure out if a bed is occupied or not. You also have to have something on your bed at all times, otherwise someone might think it’s empty and use it. Only choose the bottom bunk if you like sleeping on the floor, because the 5cm that the mattresses are above the floor are useless.

The Center of Reykjavik is a 30min walk away and there is a pedestrian friendly sidewalk the whole way.

Basic, but nice clean, quite good sized room with a comfortable setup (bed, table, etc). Plenty of clean and large bathrooms on the floor. Its located at the bus stand but that was not an issue. Probably lucky with parking as limited parking spaces but, plenty of parking on the street.

Inconvenient location in relation to the city center, which is reachable on foot in no less than 20 minutes. No bars or restaurants nearby. You have to walk a bit to find some nightlife. Excessive cost: few bathrooms and showers compared to the number of beds. The charging outlets are not near the beds but on the windowsill. Noisy metal lockers to open.

Clean hostel. Airport bus departs every hour from in front of the hostel.
