Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Beware, it is NOT located in the city centre as it says on booking.com. It is a good 20 minutes walk which is not easy in cold, windy weather. Also the name is slightly misleading; the main flybus terminal is 20 minutes walk.
Nice and friendly staff, I liked the 24h access to the kitchen.

Not totally don’t like maybe kinda far to the center if you want to eat or to buy something there is no public transpo from the hostel. But all in all it was so good my friends and i really appreciate it
I like everything. The rooms are very comfortable,clean and neat. You can actually relax. Also very accessible to the tourist spot because they has own service if you want to visit the tourist attraction which is very amazing. Staff are also very professional

More food selection would have been great
I was there with my teenager for an overnight layover and the staff was so friendly! They let us check in an hour early. We took a northern lights bus trip which picked us up right at the front door (it’s a bus terminal!) The place is brand new and exceeded expectations.

The guests are very cooperative and helpful than the staff.
The location is far from the airport and the city center. The staff are very reluctant and not helpful. Don't give the specific and right answer for any questions.

- Far from center - Receptionist is busy with buses reservation calls so you have to wait for their long calls to talk to them. - Receptionist is most of the time only one and has 3 jobs reply to hostel travelers, answer calls for airplane bus reservations and bartender! - They asked me to rent storage for my luggage for just up to 03:00 pm! Which costs 20 euro! Although they have storage room! - Reception always busy with people who are booking airplane bus( not hostel residents)

There are like a 20min walk away from downtown, but it means that you have a quiet place to stay
It's always a nice place to stay at. It's very convient if you're taking a flight after. They have little vending machines if you get hungry later in the evening. Beds are comfortable and at least in the 10 bed rooms you have loads of space

Snoring customers, and those who stayed up in the rooms making noise.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Andrei was a great host and made sure all customers were satisfied.

The curtains in the room were long enough to cover the whole window so lights were coming in all night. It was quite loud from the outside. The whole top floor smelt like fish from someone’s cooking in the kitchen.
Good location, only 5 minute drive from town.

twin room with double bed, not as described. And hostel was not able to provide twin room with two beds as it was booked and clearly said two separated beds. Also useless booking.com customer service not helped to sort this out.

The bathrooms were not very clean, soap dispensers were empty, and there was no toilet paper in some of the toilets. But the most annoying thing at night was the noise coming from the staff room on the ground floor, a very loud guys walking back and forth using foul polish language. Not pleasant to hear at all.

The hostel is very sterile, cold and not very welcoming. The beds are quite hard, however the duvet provided was warm enough. Not a lot of character to the hostel.
Bus hostel is easy to book and one of the locations for pickup.

The room and bathroom are both clean and tidy, and a well-equipped kitchen enables you to do any easy cooking as well. The location is satisfactory, not far away from BSÍ ( The main bus station in Reykjavík, and you always take bus 55 or flybus at Keflavík international airport getting to BSÍ as a tourist. Also this hostel is on the list of nice travel, bus travel and many other tour companies. So you can just wait for the bus to pick you up in the morning.

Everything is great
Perfect location sufficient space for one night transit. 24/7 support at reception really recommend for the first night or the last night in Iceland before airport
