A lovely building in the heart of the village. Very stylish interior with carefully chosen furniture, crockery and artwork. Very comfortable beds. Charming, helpful staff.

A super comfortable and cosy place. Chris was so friendly and was kind enough to upgrade our room free of charge as it was a quiet couple of days. It was such a nice base in Stykkisholmur during the bouts of worse weather, just to relax and have a tea in the communal area. The town was also lovely. Loved it!

A beautifully maintained and unique property. Extremely caring and attentive staff. Marta went out of her way to help us at every opportunity and make us feel comfortable and well orientated. She really was a bonus of our stay. Breakfast was generous and delicious. A lovely fishing port village. Cosy rooms and very comfortable beds!

Great location, Stykkishólmur is lovely and relaxed, a great place to wonder about and a good base to explore the peninsula. Wonderful host who was friendly and kind and interesting. The accomodation is really cute and clean and comfortable. I would definitley return.

very homey lt was warm and friendly staff that was sooooooo helpful. Christopher went over and above the call of duty by helping coordinate a tour that had originated in Reykjavik. staff drove us in their own car to meet the tour. great meal recommendations too. yummy breakfast with warm home made bread Christopher also helped me with seei the northern lights🙏

Delightful staff, Chris was extra helpful and kind. Super comfortable beds and the shower pressure was out of this world! Charmingly decorated and such a great location. Stayed for two nights and loved every minute.

Nothing really.. the rooms were cosy, but well furnished and decorated.

The place is in a great location, just up from the harbour in a lovely spot . The rooms are cosy, a little tight on room, but very comfortable and modern. The staf are great, check-in a breeze and ready to help with dinner reservations or on what to see in the area. Lovely area by reception to have a hot drink, read or spend a few minutes. Breakfast was offered and was well worth it. Would stay again

Only that we couldn’t stay longer

We had such a wonderful stay! The room was cosy, clean, and a wonderful refuge from the rainy Icelandic weather. Monica and her coworker Bruno were delightful hosts, offering great tips for things to do and vegetarian-friendly restaurants in the area. The breakfast was delicious. I would absolutely visit again.

So cute and close to the two best restaurants plus the water. Feels like staying in a friends home, it’s so welcoming. Also Monica and Bruno are the BEST and that dog definitely thinks she is Mom and needs to stay with her forever :) Octavia was also so sweet and made the best breakfast!

Rooms are very dark and don’t have hooks to hang things.

Friendly staff, cozy and warm. Large breakfast and strong coffee. Nice hangout space with tea and snacks available. They helped with dinner reservations.

Such a historical building! Even though with the long history, the room is very stylish. Small, but with everything you need. It’s in one scene of the movie “The secret life of Walter Mitty”, so it’s totally worth it to stay. Also the staff is great, she made me great tea, so much thanks.
