They need to put a much bigger, eye-catching, noticeable sign of "TAKE OFF YOUR SHOSES IN THE HOUSE". A half of guests wear their shoses in the house while the other half doesn't. It's not really pleasant experience that the rule-obeidients get dirt on their bare feet, while the rule-breakers enjoy the clean house. They need to close the kitchen (maybe put some standing sign) at the night time. Some guests arrived at the hostel over 10PM. They cooked after 11PM with a lot of noises, laughting and chatting. I couldn't sleep until 1 AM. very like a college dormitory. Was a nice place, but still needs to manage the house with a little more effort, when some guests do not follow the rules.

The reception is only open at 5pm. No earlier and no way of contacting anyone, we tried. So no point asking what our eta was at time of booking. Breakfast was very well done continental style and good coffee.

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Kitchen in the smaller building is not as well equipped but staff were happy for us to duck over to the other larger building for anything we needed. Very clean and tidy.

The building in which we stayed had the rooms set up like a hostel or old age home, with rooms on both sides down a long hallway - with a dining room and bathrooms at the one end and a communal kitchen and more bathrooms at the other end. The kitchen had every utensil you could think of needing. Apart from the shared bathrooms, there was also a sink available in our room for our own personal use.

The guesthouse itself was great. I know this isnt on them, but the sulfur smell of the warm water especially was really bothering me. Other than that, great mattresses, great clean floors, good kitchen, staff present and helpful when we arrived.

When I arrived there was a lot of snow which made parking a bit difficult - not their fault! Still the parking directly in front of the building was a bit narrow, but managable.

The room was big as well as the bed which was also very comfortable, I liked the pillows and the bedding. There was a desk in the room, a shelf and a sink. WiFi was working great. The common kitchen seemed nice and clean, but I did not use it. Bathroom and toilets were clean. I arrived before check-in time and although I could not go into my room yet, I could stay in the common area (where they also serve breakfast) and use the supplies there. When I asked for help at the reception, they were helpful and nice. The location is great, close to the lake and geothermal area.
