As I mentioned last times, the curtains are really thin. Especially in summer time this is huge issue for me, since there is almost no darkness at night. If you are light sensitive, bring your eye mask. It seems to be an Icelandic thing to have very light curtains, because I see it everywhere. This is something that could definitely be improved.

I always love staying at this guesthouse. It was my 4th time being here. Especially the cozy and peaceful living room setting. The guesthouse has a very authentic feel. The mattresses are very comfortable. Location is just perfect, in the center but not on a tourist street. It is always very interesting to talk to the owners and learn more about Iceland and their businesses. Side note: if you want a kinky experience, book room 8 🚿, see picture😉

We stayed for one night and had a lovely trip! The room was simple & cozy. The house is full of beautiful furniture and the kitchen is very helpful if you want to cook by yourself. It’s 2 min to the city and you can park for free.

I really enjoyed my stay. -The ascent look of the furniture gives this beautiful cosy and warm vintage look. -The common areas were nicely decorated and the cleaning was on point. Enjoyed the surprise of having some breakfast included in the price even though is not mentioned. -The staff was absolutely lovely and friendly. Had some really nice chats and advices and I was taken for a little drive in the nature. Which I loved.

Friendly, comfortable 100 old house with a history. Very nice spaces to eat, use the kitchen, and socialize. Beds were very comfortable for me and my husband. Very clean and nice shower. Super location near Hallgrimskirkja, which is a tour bus pick up spot. We also could walk to the main bus station to get FlyBus to the airport.

The location of the guesthouse is very very close to the Church, and it’s in the center of the town, very convenient to walk around in the town. Eric is very very hospitality and leave us a very detailed instruction to help us self check in. Bathroom is very big and comfortable to use.

The signage on the front is a little difficult to read and it was not clear to me at what time I could check in.

The shower is small and the smell of the water (as in the whole area) is unpleasant.

The location is excellent, near the Church and the main street. The beds are really comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The host is very kind.

Really nice experience, the location is perfect, just next to the but stop 8 and the church. The room is really clean and the bed is comfortable and clean as well, every decoration is lovely. The kitchen includes some free foods and has plenty of tablewares. The bathroom is big and the owner prepared everything :) highly recommended

There was only one shared bathroom on the floor, but fortunately there were not so many guests.

Great location near Hallgrimskirkja and free parking lot. House has interesting history and a plenty of room. Liked the kitchen and free food policy to reduce wastes.

Loved the historic story of the almost 100 year old house. Very welcoming staff, owner George and assistant Nickola. Location was the main reason I selected this property. Really liked the open kitchen and dining areas for meeting new people. My husband and I thought the room was very good with a super-comfortable queen size bed

The bathrooms are small and the light in the room is very dim, but this is still 100 % recommended :)

People there were really nice, the house is super nice decorated and there is quite some things you can eat for breakfast. Easy check in and out :)
