Poorly insulated rooms - Every move can be heard by others. we could hear the snores of the guests sleeping upstairs! Not enough bathrooms/toilets for the number of shared rooms. (or perhaps we caught high traffic when we were there).

What a beautiful area - slightly off the city centre but surrounded by woods and forest trails. There is a wonderful walking trail right around the property. Gorgeous garden to sit and relax in the evening. And Hallormsstaður forest is 20 mins close. Hengifoss, studlagil are all nearby. Friendly staff. (We could get the most of the property because we were lucky with great weather)

It was comfortable and clean, there is a small and cute walking path around the guesthouse which was refreshing. we had a nice stay here.

The breakfast is amazing and the choices are very well spread. There is literally everything you may like, including options for vegetarians. Everyone there is pretty friendly

Really nice homey feel for the Guesthouse. Very clean and friendly staff. Nice selection of breakfast but no eggs. Not many options for gluten free. However the place has a nice feel to it and common area has a piano as well. Lots of space in the common area!

We only stayed for 1 night and arrived very late and left early in the morning, so we didn't get a change to get to know the place. For us it was good: we showered, slept and had breakfast and then we left. Breakfast was good but little options. Rooms were good and spacious.

Everything was great! Rooms are nice and clean, shared bathrooms on each floor *perfectly* clean. Breakfast is quiet interesting. There are a several rest rooms and one main dining area. Location is great, 15mins of driving from Egilsstadir. They also have a laundry service for a decent price.

Fantastic location, kind staff, an EXCELLENT breakfast, clean bathrooms, and comfortable beds. Love this area of the country and the location is just outside of town. There is a swing set and the dining area has tables both for food and playing games.

I couldn't get the door to my room to lock.

I liked the land and that it was a bit out of the way. The staff were kind and a good breakfast.

Everything was as expected and better. Breakfast had good variety. Coffee tasted good. Enough shower and toilets. Rooms were spacious and beds comfy. Friendly staff.

They have plenty of kitchen supplies and some tools for having a late microwave dinner. And free coffee and tea. Breakfast with recently baked bread. Missed the eggs though

We were missing eggs for breakfast.

The room was big, clean and comfortable. Even though there are shared bathrooms, we had a sink inside the room and it was perfect! The shared bathrooms were on every floor and they were very clean! The staff was wonderful and very helpful :) The breakfast was early, delicious and full of options :) There are huge common areas to sit, play and enjoy the evening. We had a self check-in and it was so helpful so we could arrive whenever we wanted. Everything was wonderful and we wish we had more time there.
