I was a little skeptical due to shared bathroom, but booked anyway because of good review. And the reviews did not lie. My sister and I were driving back pretty late and it was out of check in time, I texted the owner and he answered quickly helping out with our late check in. He also posted a direction note at the front door for us to find our room, and helped us with our carryon upstairs. Our room was clean and pretty spacious. And it had a sink, which we really appreciated being girls with makeup and skincare routine. The shared bathroom was also very clean. The house was not exactly in Vik town but about 15 min drive, it would be a good location for northern light hunting, being quite remote and dark. Breakfast was not exactly my Asian taste but I appreciated it nonetheless, especially being in Iceland. Definitely staying again it coming back.

The stairs was very steep and also steps outside very dangerous, we had to leave early to catch a tour, it was very dark, no outside light and grounds very unstable.

Beautiful location in the middle fields and overlooking mountains. It's perfect for a nightcap if you're driving around the ring road. Has all the basic facilities and is clean, comfortable and warm. The host was friendly and helpful. The place is quite compact and basic though, so don't expect luxury. The kitchen and Bathroom/toilet are shared with other guests so plan your meals accordingly. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to stay for the night.

The place was in a great location, super relaxing and quiet area! Amazing place for the northern lights we saw a great show on the night we stayed there. Our hosts were super responsive on the booking app, answering all of our questions promptly and clearly. A beautiful view from our room!

I loved the homemade geysir bread and the friendly owners. She took the time to answer many questions and gave me great advice on what to see and what order to do it. We got two rooms upstairs for my family of four, and it was great. I was a little worried the shared bathroom would be difficult, but it was totally fine, even with the place fully booked. There was one upstairs and one downstairs, plus sinks in each room, so it was very easy. The beds were comfortable and views were great. Plus it was fun to mingle with the sheep and meet the raven who comes by for scraps. But the best part was getting to know the kind and helpful owners. What a great experience!

Very friendly owner. I mentioned to him that I had to leave early in the morning before breakfast time and he made me a sandwich to take on the road. Showers were clean and room was clean as well.

This is a small but charming farm house turned guesthouse outside of Vik. It's in a beautiful location and the owner is friendly and helpful

Location is a bit away from Vik so require 20min drive to grab some dinner.

Great spot for a unique farm guesthouse experience in Iceland. Was wonderful to have a breakfast provided. Our host was very nice and provided us with lots of great information for our trip.

There are stairs to get into the house, and possibly more, depending on what floor you are on. But, Anar offered to help with our luggage.

Anar, the host, went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable. The farm house has been wonderfully remodeled. It is very clean. We had a sink in the room which was very convenient. Curtains were very dark, didn’t need eye shades to sleep well in June. Location is very close to Sólheimasandur (DC-9 plane wreck site), Solheimajokull, Dryholaey and 20 minutes from Vik.

Lovely place on southern coast. Close to Black sand beach and other natural beauty spots. Peaceful, nice and friendly owners. We had a lovely stay.

We booked it by chance and this was out best guesthouse stay in our entire Iceland-visit. Also great tips on sightseeing around the guesthouse. Only stayed one night but would definitely recommend as a home base for south cost multi day stay.

Good place for people who’s looking to rest from today life. Cozy, quiet building at the end of world with beautiful view at ocean, staff was helpful and guide us a little bit.
