It was a hassle to find the right wifi but when I did, it worked great. (Bad 4G network so you're depending on the wifi)

Cozy thoughtfull accomodation full with Icelandic culture! If you need to have a place to stay and you pass this place; take it! After a trip of a few kilometers on gravel you reach this remote little 'village' (settled farm) with everything in reach . Dinner and breakfast where great. I'm happy I took this option when I needed a place to stay in between my long trips, lovely mountain view from my room. Bathroom was nice, overall room was clean and beds where comfy!

Location was a bit off the beaten path, but with the cafe/restaurant, this did not matter.

Lovely Rooms with scenic vistas out the back.  Common room, perfectly appointed with fridge, coffee service, cozy lounge area. The cafe/ restaurant had a delicious breakfast buffet. Staff were very helpful with advice when we had a surprise snowfall, with regards to road closures, apps to help with this, etc.

The unexpected upgrade to the hotel building was a very pleasant surprise! The room was amazing and very modern and design-oriented, and there was a very comfy and cozy common area ( the vynil record player was much appreciated!) Location was also stunning and isolated, perfect combination for a relaxing stay. plus: very cute cat in the common area was a cute extra!

Absolutely amazing location, very special place to visit. Quite close to thermal pools and other attractions. Very secluded place, great surprise.

we had everything we needed. The common room with sofas and tables and suppliance were clean, tidy and modern! it was like a chalet in the mountain with a modern touch.

The location is mesmerising (especially after snow)! The reception is separated from the different the rooms/little houses but all the wooden building were amazing, clean, tidy and well decorated. It was all welcoming and warm. So cosy!

No stove in the shared kitchen, so you can't cook your own dinner. But more reason to go eat at the café/restaurant :)

Very luxurious, cosy, modern decorated rooms, great beds and private bathroom. Shared kitchen/living room area with a wood stove, comfortable chairs and couch, and a record player. Nice small settlement in the middle of nowhere with a café where you can have breakfast and dinner. Looks very picturesque.

Don’t love having to share a bathroom but at least it brought the cost down. There were quite a few rooms in the cabin so several people were up very early to head out which woke us up.

Fantastic! We got upgraded to the hotel, and its common area has wonderful amenities like a wood stove, record player with lots of Icelandic records, great coffeemaker, and cozy ambiance. The rooms themselves were beautiful, and each had a tiny deck out back. The restaurant had delicious food.

The lodging was excellent with a whole cottage with a fully fitted kitchen for ourselves. Wonderful previleged location. Out of this world. And with Northern Lights as a bonus. Would come back soon and would recomend without hesitation.

Certain lights in the room were not working well.

The place was situated rather near the Ring Road. No difficulty getting there. We managed to catch the northern lights because the place was dark enough for us to see it.

Scenic location and nice room! Managers were very kind when facing a mismatch in our reservation, as the booking stated that the breakfast was included though it wasn't according to hosts. They honored our booking anyway, but better be aware to double check this.

Only complaint is that the walls in the shared cottage are thin, so bring earplugs to sleep better!
