Only 2 toilets for a lot of people getting up st the same time. Also, it would be better if there was a toilet booth closer to the pods.

The pods are great. Some has better used space than the other (depending on table position)

2nd stay at location. Brilliant stop off between Reykjavik and Akureyri. Will definitely stay there again. Food in the restaurant was very good. Surrounding area very beautiful

Brilliant place to stop over on a trip from Reykjavik to Akureyri. Very warm and welcoming staff. Nice views of the waterfall, with scenic walk around the troll garden.

Some bathrooms and kitchens a bit dated and not very private (which of course was expected so not a big deal for us).

The pod was fantastic, very cozy and warm, perfect for a shorter stay even in the middle of winter. The area was also stunning and the hot tubs definitely made it a relaxing stay!

The light in the shower/ changing room at the hot tubs didn‘t work. That the wifi is available in shared areas. Could add some basic things to the kitchen like oil and baking paper

Super cute & cozy camping pods, nice to have hot tubs very good area to see Aurora if the weather is good. Troll hike next to it is a nice activity.

For future guests: Please remember to clean up after yourselves in the shared spaces (kitchen, showers). The staff cleans regularly, but this is not an all-inclusive hotel, and others use these facilities too.

One busier time there was no warm water and the water pressure was not great in the shower.

Everything was super clean, the pods are very cute and cozy with hearting and a mini fridge. Friendly staff and the location is mesmerizing with a waterfall just behind the restaurant. Hot tubs are available and breakfast was also great.

The accommodation exceeded all my expectations. Even though the houses look small, they have everything you need. Despite the fact that it was very cold and snowing, the houses were very comfortable. I would also like to commend the kindness of the staff at the reception. The kitchen and bathrooms are very clean.

Few ameliorations about these leads: Need to be clear about kitchen rules for collective aéra, we saw many people don't care about property, didn't care about dishes.... Collective kitchen is a great option. The little pod (we got the 14th) is really good but tiny a bit. I guess a little "SAS" to put shoes and other stuff could be great 👍

We loved Fossatún's crew and his location, bathroom was very clean, our pod was lovely cosy and special Oscar for Hot Tub, great surprise .

The only thing I think it should be taken in consideration are the strong lights they have outside the common areas. These lights are not helpfull when watching the northern lights, so we had to distance ourselves a little bit to see them better.

It's not the cleanest place have to say, dust in pods and a bit messy public showers, but for the price with the location it's something you can live with.

Very nice place, we even saw the northern light, pods were really lovely, nicely smelling, cosy, very good breakfast worth the price definitely. The location is great, nice for walks around.

Even though the pods are smaller than normal cottage as we know them, they are so cozy and warm, so for overnight stay, or just weekend out of the capital in a "tent" feeling I will and herby recommend Fossatun pods to anyone!
