Very good camp, located in beautiful scenery, with two kitchens very well equipped, private shower available, three hot tubes, restaurant with the great view, where you can order a breakfast (if you do it in advance the price is lower), children’s playground. You can also order bed linen at the additional price (also the price us lower if you book in advance) where you get the towels as well. The stuff us very friendly and helpful 😊

The accommodation has a great location. What I appreciate the most is the price and the quality overall. We had a small cottage for one night and it was clean and cozy. There are bathtubs, great for evening relaxation.

It was my ninth stay at Fossatún and it was a great as always! The camping-pods are very cozy and the hot tubs are perfect for relaxing in the evening. The new kitchen building is a great addition. Don’t miss trying the restaurant, it‘s delicious!

Second time that i have stayed here and this time it was even better. We stayed in a Pod for three nights which was lovely and clean and very comfortable. Perfect! We were welcomed by Margherita who was absolutely lovely, as were all the staff that we met. Very friendly and we really enjoyed chatting to her over the nights that we stayed. A bonus on this visit was the fact that the restaurant was open in the evening, so we ended up eating here for the three nights as it was so good. Lovely Lamb goulash soup, fish gratin, lamb stew - just superb. And lovely beers to go with it! Perfect, quiet and beautiful location. We are already planning our return next year and cannot wait to be back.

The shower rooms are mostly open without cubicles. It would be good if there are more shower rooms.

We love the location, the restaurant face a nice waterfalls. There are hot tubs for guest too. The kitchen looks good.

location, the tiny PODs, super equipped kitchen, hot pots, very clean any time we used common facilities. Highly recommend! Fabulous "meeting room" with the owner's collection of vinyls, old radios, .... Incredibly tiny and calm and relaxing :-)

The hot tubs were the highlight for us due to the cold temperatures. The host allowed us to stay late upon request without any hesitation. The pods were quite cosy and nice to sleep in.

I have no complaints

The person running (guy from Romania) things was amazing. He allowed us to move our reservation to a day earlier due to a storm in northern Iceland. He was very friendly, gave great recommendations and seemed to run the entire place. Everything was clean, the hot tubs were nice, the troll stuff was fun. We had a great time after an exhausting escape from crazy snow conditions in the north.

Situated in a place with beautifull views. Great food. Camping pods are warm and have everything neccesery. The service were very kind.

No cooker

Comfy beds, pod came was toasty and had a useful mini fridge. You could wind down after a long day in one of the hot tubs.
