- the beds are so soft it was really very uncomfortable sleep :(

- the place has magnificent remote, quiet location by waterfalls, the views are great. - cottage we had was really cosy and nice - very good breakfast buffet, and you can enjoy the meal facing the waterfall view

It could have been excellent, but there are a major problem: The main big window is overlooking the parking place and the passway between the rooms and the waterfall. It is built so the bed is right behind the big window and everyone who passes by is looking at your bed and into your room. It actually means that the curtain must be shut down so that you cannot enjoy the view.

We stayed for two nights in this hotel. This place is actually in a nature attraction by itself. It has its own waterfall and a running river. Amazing. Breakfast wss excellent and we enjoyed a dinner in the restaurant they are running with a good food and reasonable price. All in all it is an awesome place to stay in. Don't miss it.

Wi-Fi could be improved, part of time are broken (can’t connect to internet) even we live in closet room. The mobile network is not ok at the same time ( walking to the hill can quickly get 5G)

The breakfast was the best we had in Iceland. Rooms were cozy and the troll garden next to the small waterfall was cute. They offer dinner, which had all typical dishes.

Like everything in Iceland it was pricey.

You enter a wonderful world of tales and legends. The most stunning view over a waterfall, from our room window. We stayed in one of the little yellow houses, there is also mini trailers and RV camping sites, they hVe a hot tub, a mini golf and a huge space behind the hotel to go for a walk, there is a lake… The restaurant is not bad too. We loved this place.

nothing major, would just be minor things like short cord of kettle that made us put it on the floor, decorative pillows and quilt that needs replacing (or just get rid of it it’s old-fashioned).

The hotel was missing some renovations, it had scratches and dents in the room and the bathroom. One of the beds in room 8 cracked every time you moved. There is also a big window that you can be seen trough by people passing by.

The facilties were ok and the breakfast quite good. There is also a restaurant/bar if needed. WiFi was good.

Amazing location, even in awful weather you can enjoy the view from the restaurant. Really good vibes, comfy bed, friendly staff. Simple and fair quality food, nice breakfast selection. All we needed for a weekend stay.

There was no shampoo, but whatever :)

The breakfast place with the waterfall view is just amazing, and breakfast itself is also great. (Respect to the staff, they're working their asses off!) Although it's "just" a hotel room, we also had a fridge, a microwave and a small kettle with tea and coffee. We arrived late, but self check-in was super easy and smooth. Beds are comfy, the surroundings of the place are beautiful.

Charming and comfortable spot! We stayed in room with a beautiful river/waterfall view and it was spacious and clean. Also a great dinner and breakfast - we loved the conservatory with the view over the waterfall. Would absolutely recommend this cosy and unique place!

it was perfect as a restful place after arriving at KEF and before the long drive up to Siglufjorder (spelling?), north of Akureyri. We have stayed there 2 or 3 times before. My website has a photo of me sitting in the pot of the hungry troll up on the hill.

Cleaning staff left the window open so the room was very cold when we arrived back in the evening. Key pick-up should be automatic without additional communication, in case guests do not arrive until the end of check-in time.

Great location, super breakfast and we particularly liked the record collection and the story about the owner. They have hot tubs as well.

Supernice set up: replica of an elf village with different amenities and a breathing view from the restaurant overlooking the waterfall beneath. Superelaxing hot tubs available on site. Very friendly staff and clean room. The breakfast was also rich and varied. Strongly recommended!!
