Door didn't close tightly, our mistake for not checking, but it swung open while we were out and midges got into the room. I didn't realize this and was bit many times during the night as I slept on top of the covers due to the room being a little too warm.

The location was beautiful, make sure you ask for a waterfall view room. You walk outside your door and the waterfall is right there in front of you. The food is divine. Make sure you make a dinner reservation though before you arrive. We forgot to do this and the restaurant was fully booked by a large wedding group. Luckily, the staff was able to squeeze us in. We were so glad that we didn't miss the great food, plus we would have faced a long drive to the nearest restaurant. Outdoor sites deserve to be experienced, we wish we had arrived a little earlier in the day to explore more!

Can’t have this every where at Iceland with this price. It’s our lucky stay.

It is a theme Park own by the landlord. Fall next to you. Eat n watching the water. Dinner is great. Also the breakfast is included n very good with smoked salmon.

This other guest, crabby, miserable thing couldn’t even say a pleasant “good morning” without throwing in an insult! How she could be like that in a place like this is beyond me.

Everything! Staff, meals, huge music collection. The troll garden was fantastic and fun, with two real trolls overlooking the waterfalls! All viewable while having breakfast! A great way to start the day. Would definitely stay here again, and I believe booking.com underwrote this amazing place!

Lovely and quiet, comfy bed, good hot shower and plenty of space in the room. Good food in the evening, great breakfast choices. Lovely setting by the river, with short fun walks to stretch the legs. Quirky sitting/dining indoor area with fantastic music collection, Vinyl, CDs and a jukebox.

We had the BEST time with our 17 month old at the Rock n Troll! The room was great for the price, clean and comfy and enough room for the baby crib they provided for us to use. We loved having the walk and activities right on the property so we could have slow but fun mornings with our daughter instead of rushing around. And the falls are so beautiful! Would definitely recommend it for anyone traveling with kids!

Didn’t like the fire alarm going off in our room at 1:30 a.m. without reason. Some of the towels provided in the bath should probably be replaced.

Beautiful location. Great views of the Troll Falls from the Rock and Trolls restaurant. Dinner was excellent. The troll-themed walk was an unexpected delight. Rooms were nicely appointed and quiet with a windows facing the falls. The music room had an amazing assortment of albums and cds to listen to.

The cabins were spaced so it was quiet. There was a refrigerator in the room and hot tubs with a changing and shower building. The breakfast was excellent.

The shower had a mind of it´s own and every inch of the room was wet by the time you finished. The shower cubicle was a great size but unfortunately the head was crazy

The rooms were furnished well with every eventuality covered including a fridge and a microwave. it was furnished in a way where everything had been chosen individually to fit the room rather than a bulk buy from Ikea. It was lovely.

Check in was easy and quick. The hotel is a collection of cabins and pods. Don't let the fact that there are cabins. They are the same as any nice hotel room. Plenty of space and a very nice bathroom. The hotel is right next to some scenic falls and has a Troll garden to explore. Best of all, the owner has a huge collection of vinyl and CD's. His taste in music, was perfect. The breakfast was varied and plentiful.

The hot tub really was a hot one. You should watch the duration of your stay. We only bathed for a short time and the guy in the tub next to our's collapsed.
