The hotel is very nice and luxurious but for the price you pay to stay there it would have been good if breakfast was included.

Location of the hotel was great and the staff were fantastic even when other guests were being rude/harsh to them for no reason. We were lucky to have a room at the front of the hotel so we had a really good view. We also ordered room service after a long day and it was a reasonable price and came to the room quickly. Plenty of parking so no need to worry.

Really impressed that they offer a room call service for the northern lights! The hotel is spacious stylish and super welcoming. Restaurant had delicious food. The hot tub and sauna facilities were great (complimentary robe in room). Staff were incredibly friendly. Would highly recommend! Ideal for an early wake up to go for a glacier hike from Skaftafell.

The open shower - water was flowing everywhere in the bathroom, making the floor really slippery. It was so much water that it overflowed into the room and escaped from the entrance door. Luckily the staff was so kind to clean it immediately. Hot tub - water was very chlorinated and dried our skin out. There was a lot of light coming from the gym (located in front of the hot tubs) and it prevented us from observing the sky and the autora clearly. Maybe some curtains to cover the gym’s windows could help? Restaurant - when we asked if the fish was wild caught or farmed (to decide whether to order it or not) we were told the kitchen staff “was not sure”, which didn’t sound professional considering all food should be traceable.

Location was superbe and surrounded by nature. Facility was extremely clean and room was spacious with very comfortable beds and a bay window nook to relax and watch the aurora. Good selection of coffee and teas. The restaurant (apart from a small glitch) was really good and the buffet breakfast had really good quality and variety of food. The staff was very kind and considerate.

The sauna and hot tub area get busy but that's to be expected.

Lovely hotel on the inside, with cozy rooms. Nice restaurant and breakfast buffet. We stopped for one night on a road trip, good proximity to diamond beach. It's much nicer on the inside than it looks from the outside, and it's very cozy inside.

A really comfortable hotel. Lovely large room with great facilities. Loved the window seat with great views and storage underneath - This also worked as a great drying area for boots and clothing with the radiator built inside the storage box / window seat. Really helpful attentive staff. Amazing food and wine.

Food is expensive but fantastic!

Fantastic stay in beautiful hotel with great communal spaces. The spa was a particular highlight as we were able to watch the northern lights from the heated hot tub! Delicious restaurant food. Great and comfortable room. Wonderful stay.

As with a lot of hotels the pillows are too thick and hard, but that's more my personal preference.

What a find! Lovely hotel close to Diamond Beach. Very clean and modern with two large outdoor hot tubs and a sauna. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Lots of choice. We ate in the restaurant both nights. The food was excellent and the restaurant staff were attentive and friendly. We even managed to see the Northern Lights while we were there. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice upscale hotel. Fantastic amenities such as onsite restaurant ( be sure to make reservations for dinner) , outdoor seating to enjoy happy hour cocktails, and a waterfall within walking distance. Breakfast buffet offered many choices. We saw the most beautiful multi colored Northern lights.

The restaurant was a bit overrated and pricey according to us, it would be nice to have other cheaper options at the hotel or in the proximities. It was also very warm in the room.

Beautiful room and the location was perfect. We saw an amazing Aurora Borealis right in front of the hotel which was a unique experience.
