Great location. High end hotel with all the amenities. Very friendly and helpful staff. First class restaurant. Very nice hot tubs to relax in at the end of a long travel day

Surrounding area was a bit barren. No lift or stirs at our end of the hotel so it was a bit of a walk - and we had to go past the restaurant/cafe area in bathrobes to get to & from the very nice spa area. As did others. Also there’s not enough room in the breakfast area when you are trying to choose food - everyone is jostling along the same line of food. Small but irritating points in a lovely hotel. Staff were super.

It was stylish, with clean comfortable and nicely decorated rooms. Fantastic meal and good choice of breakfast buffet.

My husband and I are here in Iceland for about 11 days and if we could have stayed at this one hotel the entire time my husband would have been over the moon! First we arrived to an upgraded room and desserts with a hand written note welcoming us and wishing us a happy honeymoon! That was just so lovely and what a way to start off our trip! The staff were all so kind! Top notch breakfast every morning and the dinners were sooooo good! Best beet salad I’ve ever had! Highly recommend! The sauna and hot tubs were just perfect for those foggy afternoons! ALSO the waterfall on the property was just stunning! Could not have had a better experience! Will be recommending Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon to everyone I know and we’ll definitely be back next time we visit!

Restaurant was expensive, the seafood soup was too salty. Even though the Char fish was very good the skin was over seasoned and too salty for my liking.

Nice location. Well laid out room. Room was warm with heat off but it had a window that opened to let in cool air. Bed was comfortable, nice rain shower and slow close toilet seat. Buffet breakfast was very good with a nice selection of breakfast favorites both hot and cold Full moon over ocean and beautiful Aurora last night.

We had issues with the bathroom drain being clogged. Staff handled it quickly but it left a bad smell.

Loved all of it.

Loved the Northern lights wake up call. Loved the rooms and the surrounding scenery, including a beautiful waterfall right near the hotel. Loved the restaurant, which was fantastic (although reservations are definitely needed). Our second time staying here and would definitely stay a third time!

The beds are just NOT great. Feels like you are sleeping on a waterbed--and to those who have slept in one, you know the downsides to this. Quite pricey too. One night room and dinner for two will easily be over £500 (GBP). Then again, everything in Iceland is expensive.

Location was excellent..just off the main road. Sea to one side and mountain with a small waterfall just behind the hotel. restaurant was good and portions are very generous. Very tasty cocktails indeed-their Pornstar Martini is just divine-we enjoyed more of these in the lounge and balcony - both are super comfortable with stunning views. Rooms are modern and good size bathroom. Also good views from the room.

Very nice and cozy room. In our room we did not hear any noise, I slept so well. Integrated in nature. Positive thing that late in evening staff found for us place in restaurant, and it is working till late time. Good hot tub, and open till late. )) One of the best hotel in Iceland.

Beautiful hotel and location. Nice big rooms with thoughtful amenities. I liked that there was a gym. This seems to be rare in Iceland.

We did not like the fact that we stayed for only one night and we would have loved to stay longer.

Everything about the hotel, we really much liked it. We missed the breakfast, but because we had plans and could not come back to enjoy it. The staff was very professional and the rooms were stunning and beautifully decorated. We definitely recommend to stay there for couple of nights. Great place and great work!
