Nothing, we had a great stay

Great breakfast. Good location, near a bus stop that was easy to pick up for tours. Room was spacious. We really enjoyed the beer garden which had great food.

It feels like the hotel changed a lot since we were here 2 years ago. First of all the room smelled kinda badly and the beds were realy hard, we had to order some toppers. We were asked if we want room service everyday (if I pay for a hotel I want my room cleaned daily), so we said yes. But the room was not cleaned 3 days long and we had to go down to order some new towels at least. If you save your cleanining costs, then lower the room price. Sadly I must also say that the female employes in the night shift reception always gave us a evil eye.

This was our second time in this hotel, the location is good and you have good public parking space close. The male receptionist was so nice and realy good at his job!

The food is delicious and the service is friendly, which is why I come here. I leave the bathroom door open, but I hate the smell coming out of nowhere. I chose the ocean view, but the ocean view across the building made me wonder what kind of ocean view this was. This time it's one night so I won't be able to talk to the front desk.

Staff very helpful and informative of area. Room was very clean. Central to all sights and activities withing walking distance. Upon check in the reception staff were efficient and welcoming. Would recommend this fosshotel in reykjavik, easy to find and room was just what we wanted. A good night's rest had each night.

The rooms are dated and are need of a revamp. The double room has two beds pushed together and are very hard and we had to ask for a mattress topper which made it more comfortable.

The reception, bars, restaurants and the communal areas are really lovely and spacious. The location is excellent and the trips pick up at the bus stop right outside. The town is just a short walk away. We stayed on a tower room over looking the sea which gave beautiful views.

We choose to stay hear because the location is easy to park and can walk to the tourist attraction. A bit far but walkable. A little annoy issue is parking fee is quite expensive if plus room charge. Anyway just one night stay. However we like the room is convenient and cleaned and good sea view.

Rooms were very warm and window only opened a small amount and if you kept it open during night you could hear all the buses and pick ups which can be frustrating

Breakfast was good, lots of choice. Bus stop 12 right outside so convenient for tours. Rooms get quite hot and window only opens a small amount. Tip, don't remove key card when leaving as the window automatically closes when you remove the card

-when alone, insist on choosing your own spot in the breafast room, otherwise you end up somewhere between two plants...

-extensive breakfast that is regularly replenished -kind and helpful staff -clean and warm rooms -very stable quality , since I stay there at least 3 times a year and I have tried other hotels...

Fridge in the room is very small and not gonna be cold. There is no self laundry facility. Car parking is located just underground but it is city's property. Very expensive and hard to understand how to pay it. Location is ok, there is nothing around but 15min walking distance to center of the town.

Quite new building. Everything is very clean. Staff is super friendly. There is tour desk to support whatever we want to do. Beer restaurant at ground floor is very nice atmosphere, amazingly they have more than 30 kinds of draft beer tap. ,also very good fish&chips compare to other restaurant in town.
