Great place to stay when visiting Skogafoss! The guesthouse had everything you need, very well-equipped kitchen, wonderful selection of tea. Comfortable self-serve check-in.

Our family of four found Fosstun Guest House just right for a simple, cozy night in Skogar. It’s very clean, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is sufficient to cook or bake and coffee and tea are provided. It feels like staying in a mother-in-law apartment. The bathroom was surprisingly delightful. It’s small but the space is perfectly used, there is a heated towel bar, and the shower is big for the size of the bathroom. The hostess is sweet and available for questions when you have any. Bonus: view of loads of Icelandic sheep from the kitchen window!

The toilet is really small and so is the kitchen. Not a problem if you share the place with friends (we were a group of 4, so we had the place all to ourselves). The front door doesn't close, but there aren't many people around so it's completely safe, plus you can lock your bedrooms.

A warm place where to rest after a long day exploring. Everything was clean and the bedrooms spacious. You can see Skogafoss directly from the property, amazing view! Inga and her husband live in the apartment nextdoor and are both really kind.

very close to Skogafoss with a fish n chips van just next door. Inga was very accommodating. changed our leaking kettle immediately and got a new set of knives for us. She also went through the trouble of finding our earphones which we left behind by accident and making sure it was sent to Reykjavik before our flight

Nothing, everything was great.

We called before we arrived and the lady came out to great us . It was basically a 2 bedroom apartment for the three of us. She even brought over some puzzles for our daughter to play with. Fully equipped kitchen though we didn't get to use it as there was no supermarket nearby.

Great location. You can see Skogafoss from the kitchen windows, and it's close to many other attractions if you drive a car.

The kitchen and equipment are not so clean, but we managed to wash and clean by ourselves. There is no key to lock the main door although the keys are available for the both bedrooms.

The location is near to the place of interest. And the price is reasonable.

A lovely place to stay. Perfect for us after the long 24km beautiful walk. Had messaged Inga with a few questions and always got back to me. So helpful. Great location, quiet, clean and comfortable.

Self contained apartment with large foyer, two large bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. Loved the little boot heater/dryer. View was fantastic. Menus of local restaurants in foyer. Bathroom had heated towel racks.
