Based on other places ordered on line, I inspected instructions for entry to arrive a day or two in advance. I emailed the host, who was apologetic about not getting back to me sooner, and told me exactly what I needed to know. For those without GPS devices (and there are still a few these days) it might be nice to make a map that could be sent to potential guests, once they have paid.

This apartment was undoubtedly the high point of our trip. Some have reported that it was hard to find, but with a GPS it was easy enough. c. 10 minutes from swimming pool.

Nothing, the weather was miserable so we couldn’t enjoy the outside space but it would be lovely in slightly warmer weather.

Delightful cottage right on the water, quiet and comfortable, nice to have some extra space. Excellent dinner at nearby restaurant, just a short walk over the bridge.

Not much. Breakfast was not included, but I think we knew that. Everything else was excellent.

Location was nice, on a small inlet. The property was spacious and comfortable, with a large deck. Owners had left the place unlocked with keys inside. Everything was spotless. It was nice to walk around the surrounding neighborhood. We are at a local restaurant called Retro, and the food was great and fairly priced, plus the owner was fun to talk with.

The shower is small, however not a deal breaker at all.

This is an absolutely charming apt at the marina. There is a small water fall next to the building as well. The house is 24 years old but rebuilt to the original plans. This includes how the windows and doors are secured (very old school but charming and part of the overall experience).

The doors didn't seem to seal well when closed, and the locks were tricky to use.

This place has plenty of room. The views were great. The interior has interesting character. This was one of two places we stayed that had extra pillows and towels, which was MOST welcome.

It was a little hard to find from the address but a charming lady from town helped us. The keys were in the door so we made ourselves at home. The second bedroom was a little small but very adequate for a one night stay.

A magical location on the harbour. It was great to have a whole little house to ourselves with a kitchen and living room. The decorations were charming. The kitchen was well stocked and the sunset and pool and entrance rocks were a great surprise. I'm sorry that we didn't have time to check out the heated pool.

A unique and traditional apartment right on the ocean. It was set up so you felt you were staying in someone’s home. It is not flash and modern, it is authentic with everything you need.

it’s a two-bedroom apartment that would accommodate 4 people, located close to the harbour with a pleasant outlook in two directions. It’s a very old building, family accommodation that is let out so it has many personal touches, plenty of good kitchen appliances, not modern but sufficient. After swatting ten flies during the first 15 minutes it’s now calm, spacious and peaceful. It has a large balcony overlooking the river; Hofsós is a very attractive village with many old well-cared for buildings. The apartment is attached to a museum – I should have visited it.

Large apartment. Comfortable for 2 couples. Nice outdoor space by the river. Be sure and make dinner reservations at the local restaurant - it was delicious.
