Beautifully designed hotel - lovely rooms and communal areas. The view from our room was gorgeous. The beds were really comfortable, and the shower was great. Breakfast was good.

Breakfast was pretty good. We are vegan so it would be nice to have something besides beans, fruit and cereal at every hotel. Vegan sausage, potatoes, and vegan butter would be such an easy add that non-vegans would opt for with no difference in taste.

We loved how spacious the room was and the view of the Geysir. The 3-course vegan dinner was such a nice surprise.

Well, can’t really blame them for the northern lights not showing up. And other than the geyser and waterfall not much to do in town.

It was lovely. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. Hotel had very cool mod decor. Room was good sized with roomy bathroom and shower. Restaurant and bar were good which is nice because there weren’t many other options.

The staff were really friendly - it was my birthday and I think I was wished happy birthday 5 times over our one night stay! The food in the restaurant was brilliant and the staff again were super friendly. Bonus points for the free glass of bubbles for Icelandic international women’s day! The location was great for travelling the Golden circle and the beds were super comfortable ! We throughly enjoyed our stay!

Restaurant food options could have been more extensive-- if staying here for a number of days/meals, new meal choice becomes limited at the restaurant... also service at the restaurant was not great, seemed short staffed and got orders confused- maybe new staff on training.

Beautifully designed hotel, beyond our expectations-- modern, tasteful, and accomodating for multiple lounge/chill areas accounting that the room size is good but not exteremely generous. Great location right next to Geysir and short drive from Gulfoss and overall the Golden Circle. We stayed here so we could cover the GC by car ourselves. Would recommend for sure, but would advise to have 1-2 meals there only and then try nearby restaurants instead if you are looking for a good meal.

Food was exactly the same every night. Cold buffet at breakfast was good but the cooked breakfast was overcooked/cold. The piped music felt a bit strange after a short while. We thought from the website that there was a sauna so thought the pictures were a little misleading.

The location right next to the Geysir made this Hotel perfect for a stay during our 3 day stopover in Iceland. However, once on site - the hotel exceeded our expectations! The spacious architecture of the building is very impressive with a very stylish nordic interior design. The room was nice and had a very comfortable bed. Dinner and breakfast were excellent - do not forget to try the Geysir Bread! The staff were outstanding - very friendly and helpful. A big tanks to Georgiana who helped me get back my scarf that I forgot in the room. Wished we could have stayed there longer.

We had a deluxe double room - great size and very comfortable! Staff were brilliant and the food was delicious! Amazing location for the geysirs, literally just across the road. Would recommend to anyone wanting to split up the golden circle across multiple days. A real treat hotel has felt very rested after a stay here

We did find the lightning in the room a little too muted giving a rather depressing feel. No real choice of eating out due to location but the restaurant was excellent.
