The room needed more lighting. Other than that it was very comfortable.

Remote and very quiet. Easy access on the highway. Host went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He spent a considerable amount of time helping us locate an event we very much wanted to attend the next day. He brought us breakfast the night before since we were leaving too early the next morning to eat within scheduled hours. We really appreciated his extra effort.

The bedroom doors opened outwards into the communal area.

Excellent location for a stop off on our way to Isafjordur. Pleasant owner who seemed to be busy doing cleaning, cooking etc. very happy to let us chose a room, and happy to give extra pillows. Plenty of hot water for a shower.

No staff on site. Really I do not like it: too cold and impersonal moreover for a guesthouse. Before leaving I at least wanted to say bye bye to the host but nobody was there. What a pity. Only microwave was available to cook (no induction plate). Fridge not working. Toilet not very comfortable. No soap to rinse dishes :(

Position: not in a mass touristic area (westfiord) Possibility of late checking. Staff was available by app.

There were lots of flies in the room (we killed 5, but there remained plenty). The place is not exactly in Buðardalur but 30 minutes north from the town.

The shared room with the fridge and stuff was somewhat unexpected, but as it was a bonus room with extra stuff and our neighbors extremely nice people, it was more like a positive thing than anything else :)

We liked the very friendly staff showing us around and the great breakfast prepared for us. Having the option to have dinner nearby the room is cool as well and the spacious parking place a luxury. The room was very clean and well prepared, we had a great view towards the sea. We would have loved to stay another night as it is a very good base camp for exploring the north-west of Iceland!

Easy communication of a short notice arrival. Key lock makes it all possible to arrive whenever. Close to main road. Nice view.

Nothing wrong with the place, but would expect a bit more for the price paid - a bit more modern, completely separate rooms, breakfast included etc

Wonderful warm and friendly hosts that went out of their way to make us comfortable with a bespoke breakfast and viking stories. The pizza was phenomenally good; just excellent!! Highly recommend either for a night's stay or as a place to stop in for dinner on the way in or out of the Western Fjords.

Was extremely windy, and the door was not sealed very well (i.e. a lot of wind was let in), but we were still warm through the night

The hosts were incredibly friendly and sold us a hot dinner even though their restaurant was under renovation. Room was cozy (the extra wool blanket was very appreciated!) and clean.

Warm water takes way too long to come and plugs are not enough. Also it is advisable to reply to your mesages on booking platform cause the guest might be quite anxious when one sends mesages and gets no reply

The Location, the view, the room has plenty of space and amenities like dishes, cups , microwave, coffee machine. It is warm and quiet.
