Beautiful cottage in a quiet costal town 5 miles from the airport. Set up well enough that no contact with staff was needed, the crib I requested was in the bedroom. I was only there for one night but I think this would be a great option for someone staying in Iceland longer. The deck was very nice for a place to relax.

I wish there wasn't as much light pollution but it was fine. It was rather neat to see the light from the working lighthouse. I also wish that there was space for a queen or king bed so my husband and I could sleep together. However, we knew the sleeping arrangements when we booked so it was not a surprise and the beds were so comfortable.

The location to the airport was convenient and to walk around the lighthouse and coast line. It was quiet and peaceful. Plenty of space, especially to relax in the family room and to eat in the kitchen. The shower and bathroom were great, and we appreciated the little extras. We liked that we could open the windows and get cool air. Nice that they had a TV with different streaming services, even though we didn't use it. Too many other lovely things to see outside!

There was no breakfast. We really would have liked to have salt, pepper, sugar. This was the first BNB we have been to that did not have some food provided. We were disappointed in how much light there was outside. There would have been a much better night sky without all the lights. Northern lights would have been much better the first night. We did not get the correct PIN number to start but luckily had a phone number to call to get it figured out. It would be good if the owners manual was there for the induction burners. We had to download the owners manual to get it off of lock to make it work. Sorry my photos are on my phone and I am typing this on my iPad.

Loved the hot shower. Beds were comfortable. Nice to visit the lighthouses up the road. It was wonderful to be so close to the airport as we had an early morning light. Really enjoyed seeing the root cellar out back. The grocery store was handy. We caught it just before it closed.

There was a bit of a draft from the front door and it was a very windy day/night so could feel a bit of draught. Would have liked a larger kettle.

Chose this accomodation as it was only 15 mins from the airport and avoids the traffic of Reykjavik. Lovely and neatly contained apartment. Lovely space and bathroom. Well equipped kitchen area. Clean and in a lovely location. Would have liked to explore the shoreline if the weather had been better.

We had a short, 1-night stopover in Iceland, and it was nice to have accommodations away from the busier areas but still near the airport. The apartment is comfortable for 2. We didn't use the kitchenette, but would have if we'd stayed longer. The view is stunning, and the nearby lighthouse is also a scenic area.

We was able to see the Northern lights even though our app said 1% chance of seeing them. Accommodation was lovely and clean, warm with a great kitchen so made self catering super easy. Lovely views around.

I’m glad we were in the end cabin as noise travelled quite badly. The hosts do have rules for quiet hours tho so it didn’t disturb us too much. I think most people use this place as an airport stop over but we stayed here for our whole trip. It would have been good to have spare bin bags and a dust pan and brush in there so we could clean up for ourselves a bit more during our stay. I’m sure we would have gotten them if we’d asked but we were out and about a lot!

Loved the location, right next to the airport but also by the coast so some lovely walks and a nice restaurant at the lighthouse. Easy to get around if you have a car, we drove into Reykjavík a couple of times and it’s only about an hour away. We met one of the hosts and he was lovely. The cabin itself is really cute and nicely decorated, beds are pretty comfy and you can login to your Netflix etc. There’s also a fridge and little freezer and plenty of parking.

The floor felt like pool decking and was incredibly uncomfortable. We got in late and there was no light on the porch to be able to access the door.

Since the "outside" studios are prefabricated, you can easily hear your neighbors. It's ok when they are not noisy, but sometimes if someone arrives late in the night you cannot avoid being woke up by doors or showers. Otherwise, everything fine.

Quiet location, not far from the airport, only around 15-20 minutes by car. Very handy when you need to take the plain the next day. It's also quite close to the "Blue Lagoon" thermal springs.

Very comfortable and good sized apartment near the airport. Hosts were very kind and responsive and provided extra pantry supplies when we needed to cook just one meal.

Super convenient for Keflavik airport with several restaurants nearby (Rostin by the lighthouse is great). The owner is really friendly and helpful. Apartment was well equipped, warm, clean and tidy and perfect for our stopover. Self check-in / out is really helpful if you're arriving late or leaving early.

Honestly, there’s really nothing to mention here!

Very tasteful and good quality furniture. Kitchen perfectly equipped. Thoughtfully chosen products available for cooking as well as in the bathroom. (Thank you for the really generous amount of coffeepads :-) Perfect location upon arrival (or departure) as only 10-15 minutes from the airport but interestingly despite that no plane noise! Very nice walking opportunities and wonderful views along the shoreline (close to lighthouses). Very friendly and welcoming owners (living across the street)!

Practically nothing. Only the beds were a little bit soft for us, but that's based on our preference.

Very comfortable with big kitchen with Dolce Gusto Coffee machine and several cups available, house is heated by floor, big, complete bathroom with showergel and even conditioner and cotton tips available. Nicely decorated like a beach house. Located close to the lighthouse and because of the dark place, also very good chance on seeing the Northern light.
