We came at the time of the snow storm and had to stay in most of our stay but even that felt homey. The staff were exceptional and welcoming and warm and baked bread every morning. We were well looked after and left alone equally. The conservatory/dining room was our home for the 5 days we stayed and was very homelike. Very very peaceful despite the storm. And we got to see the northern lights on our last night there from the hotel. Absolutely great holiday. Thank you so much Bragi for making us feel at home. Definitely will come again

Quite difficult road during the winter if you don’t have at least SUV. But it is not a constraint. You only should be ready to rent such a type of car.

fantastic breakfast included in the price. It's in the middle of nowhere. This allowed us to see the best aurora of our whole trip! It was so good, we booked again on our way back from the ring road!

The one negative was the cost of a beer or a small glass of wine (£15 - which we thought was very high).

Great hospitality - the host fed us even though we arrived late in the evening. The room was simple, adequate and clean. The accommodation had a homely feel to it.

Fantastic house with great, spacious lounging areas. Dinner was great and well worth every dollar. Olafur was excellent jn communicating location, nearby attractions and even the dinner menu through messaging. That allowed us to book beforehand for a table and choose what we wanted to have. Room was clean and very comfortable.

Fish cake has too little fish in it. The beds are too soft. No tea pot is available and hence we can only use tea bags. Provision of some bowls and plates upstairs will provide convenience to guests if we prefer to eat our own food.

The dinner is good value for money. The meat ball is tasty. Beautiful deco with nice touches.

No supermarket closed to the hotel. The nearest one is 28 km away. However, the hotel offers dinner and breakfast and you can pay at the hotel.

The hotel is very clean and tidy. The staffs are very nice and friendly.

There is no lift at the facility, so you need to take your luggage up a flight of stairs, but not too bad overall.

Good room, comfortable enough for our family with a queen bed and bunk bed for the kids. Our room included private toilet and shower, which were basic but comfortable. Property offers breakfast at extra cost, but we didn't make us of it. But being in a remote area, it is a good service.
