The doors were very loud. Even when trying to close ours carefully, a hinge pulled it quickly shut, causing it to make a slamming sound. We heard this constantly as other guests were coming and going, even with earplugs in, making it difficult to fall/stay asleep.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and for convenience, there was a restaurant on the second floor that offered breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our room had a coffee machine with tea and coffee provided. The bathroom was very nice complete with lavender soap, a spotless appearance and great shower head. It was about 12 minutes from the Keflavik Airport, which was very convenient.

Guests parked in the 15 min drop off/pick up zone so made it hard for us to pack our car early in the morning in winter. They are to be left free for a reason and maybe the hotel staff could actually make sure people moved their cars instead of parking there overnight.

This hotel was close to the airport which was ideal for an early flight. We loved the size of the room, spacious for our luggage to fit which we’ve found to be an issue at a lot of other accommodations. The rooms were clean and free from clutter, designed well. The bar area looked comfy although we didn’t use it, we did have dinner at the restaurant and it was really delicious food! We left too early to access breakfast- but appreciate it was included in our room. Coffee pods in the room was great! Beds super comfortable! The parking was easy & free and the location to the airport and petrol station was great for us.

Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Whilst not a four star the bed was more comfortable than some four star hotels I have been in. Great ambience and cool decor, had everything you need from a short stay hotel They catered for vegans, but would be good to have one oat milk sachets available too.

The hotel is close to the airport but not directly at the airport so just perfect for your stay before an early departure or after a late arrival. There is also a shuttle service during the day. The staff is friendly and at the breakfast you find what you need. The rooms are big and clean.

Nothing serious, but may be the spilling water from the shower area is a bit annoying. To my surprise, many places in Iceland seem to be like this, not sure why. I always prefer closed shower enclosure to keep the floor dry, or shower curtain. But anyway, no big deal, it is still a very nice place to stay. I will stay here again the next time catching flight from Reykjavik.

For a reasonable price, you get a clean big room. Very convenient for the last days before flight. I got plenty of area to pack my 2 large luggage. There seems to be all the amenities/equipment that I need. Shuttle service to catch morning flight (don't forget to reserve online in advance). The staff was also polite and helpful.

Heating controls were a bit tricky to find initially. Central lighting in the room was subdued due to the large space and dark ceiling, which could be slightly irritating if you need it bright for some reason, but this is very minor. The outside of the building, like many in Iceland, looks very utilitarian but don't be put off. Not lots to do nearby – it's an airport hotel – so not intended to be many things. Blue Lagoon conveniently located when it reopens.

The room was simply enormous! Very generous and ample space, good decor and excellent bathroom. This was one of the cheapest hotels on our trip and we were not expecting anywhere near the quality we actually experienced when walking in. Very clean, modern and welcoming once inside. Very convenient for the airport with nearby choices for food and convenience groceries. We did not try the breakfast as we thought it was rather highly priced. The restaurant stays open until 21:30 serving typical hotel food, so good for arriving late.

Room colors a bit dark, especially in the darker part of the year and lights were a bit limited Obligation to bring dirty plates, cups etc to a collection point is OK at a university or company canteen but not adequate for a restaurant where you easily spend 100 USD or more Limited service orientation Entrance call in renovation status but that negative aspect will be history in the near future.

Great location close to the airport with free parking (not close enough to walk). Surprisingly nice and large room that allowed both of us to comfortably pack all our Icelandic purchases before flying.
