This is a fantastic hotel right by the waterfalls. Super friendly staff, they even woke us up (upon our request!) so we could see the Northern lights for the first time. Good breakfast. Spacious and clean rooms.

A room is a little small but it is all you need for short stay

The hotel location is very close to Godafoss which can access by walking distance. All staff are very nice and friendly.

Everything was good. Nothing to complain about.

The room was very neat, comfortable and clean. Fit four adults well. Bed were firm and bedding was excellent. Godafoss is right across the street and a little cafe/fuel stop was next door.

This is the best place we stayed during our 12 day road trip at Iceland We got a room in ground floor, it’s clean , spacious with a door to a garden from which you can walk to the beautiful godafoss waterfall. The day we reached it was raining, it was windy, we spent a lot of time at their cozy restaurant sipping hot chocolate, eating dinner, chatting with their staff, all with a beautiful view of the waterfall It is apparently a recently renovated building that is more than 100 years old , was a post office sometime in the past Loved the place

I think that for a suite some little detail could be added, like a real espresso coffee machine instead of solubable coffee, candles were there but used and new ones were not added. Glasses for water would be nice to have directly at the entrance and not having to use those in the bathroom. So a little more detail matching to a suite would be nice, but besides those little things we had a very nice stay and the suite and the view are magnificent.

I loved the location and the view from the suite, the bathtub in the bedroom is also a nice addition to the already existing bathroom.

The bathroom is not that great. The sink is sooo small you can barely wash your hands. The room is old and dated.

The bathroom needed to be larger. The shower was very tiny.

This hotel is across the road from Goðafoss Waterfall near Lake Myvatn which is perfect for an early visit of the falls. We viewed the falls before breakfast which was excellent. There are several different rooms at this hotel. We didn't know what type of room we would have before arrival. The room was a good size but the shower was tiny.
