Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt isn’t a glass dome as advertised- it is plastic so the view lacked clarity and it let in the cold. The heating wasn’t effective, so it dropped to below 7c overnight and we were freezing. We contacted the host immediately upon arrival about a running water sound and no one came to help us, so we had a disturbed night sleep. The location is overlooked by some large buildings, so not as remote as we expected, and you overlook a bright hydrodam on the lake. We contacted the host to provide feedback twice, with no response. We’ve contacted booking.com and had no reply. So feel we have been let down, especially as it is advertised as a luxury stay, costing about four times any of our other accommodation. It was also my partner’s birthday, which was why we were doing something more luxurious, so even more disappointing.
The thoughtful bottle of wine was a nice touch. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was useful.

BrazilWe had an electricity problem and the power went off in the middle of the night, causing the heating system to also turn off and we woke up freezing. We contacted the property, which responded quickly, and we managed to get the power back on, but I believe the heating system didn’t get back to work properly because the property was freezing cold all night until the morning.
The property was really clean and with easy access, with a dedicated parking lot.

United StatesI had high expectations, so I'm sure they were hard to meet, but there were several items including warped floor, broken glass on the front door, missing lock box & unlockable front door that I reported upon arrival. We also requested additional firewood which was promised but not delivered.
Location was amazing (though foggy & we weren't able to fully enjoy . . . no fault of the dome!) The lodging was cleverly designed and comfortable with great amenities.

GermanyIt was blistering cold. Your only heat source is an oven and with -4 degrees outside, you’ll burn through the firewood in no time. With proper heating and insulation it would be an easy 9. right now, bewege yourself for a cold. Winter is coming
We had an amazing view at the northern lights all night

NetherlandsGet ready because this is very much still a « camping » experience. We had several issues : 1. Place wasn’t lit properly. We had to shuffle things around to eat diner with a light and use our phone torches. 2. It was late in the evening and raining and we couldn’t find the access code (which is in the door but you need to touch it to access the digital code and the time for us to find it made us soaked wet). There are two codes : one hidden on the door handle -the right one to use- and another box which seem empty. It was confusing… especially when it’s dark and stormy. 3. I tried contacting the hotel several times and they ignored us (once to ask if they had coffee, the other to ask if they could help us access our dome when we were lost). 4. Finally, the place was a bit broken. Floor is broken pieces of wood and when someone walks in the dome, this will make your bed wobble (especially upstairs). If there’s wind, your bed will wobble a lot haha. So get ready for that… if you’re a light sleeper.
Original dome shaped place that can be fun for a night. We also heard a lot of animals howling at night which we never heard before. Cool! Definitely DONT arrive at night. It’s very remote and complicated to access your dome especially if it’s stormy. Explanations below.

United KingdomThe door to enter the property had a huge crack along it Plinth on door for bathroom kept springing up each time we opened the door Warped laminate flooring in front of wood burner Fridge handle not secure so came off Power went out twice and had to contact the team to come out twice to resolve the issue The fact that pics show it being on the lake, but it is not and cannot even access the lake
Liked the idea of staying in the dome and the lake view was the icing on the cake. The decor in the domes is very stylish, underfloor heating was a nice touch, as well as the complementary wine. Sofa area was large enough to fit all of us comfortably, and a great place to relax

Cayman IslandsThe power kept cutting out - we were eventually moved to another Dome but it took a while. Could do with a microwave and nothing to dry the dishes. Also hard to regulate the temperature inside the Dome as well as the hot water
Novel concept and view from Dome was great

United StatesVery hot when we arrived with no instructions to adjust thermostat. We had to choose between open door to cool off the space and bugs flying in or a very hot space. Also view was not as pictured. Trees covered the lake view .
Beds comfortable., different.

United StatesWe lost power the second night and unfortunately the entire dome is dependent on power. It took about 12 hours to get the power back on.
Loved the doom. It was spacious and well designed.

United Statesit was a sunny day and so it was like a sauna inside until it was established the floor heating was on. the units need some form of air flow without letting all the bugs in for summer use
the domes are very cool and nice inside.

United StatesOur family stayed in two domes. We had requested that the heat be turned down/off prior to our arrival and we were told it would be "turned off." Both domes were almost 80 degrees when we arrived. The in-floor heat takes quite awhile to stop heating, even when turned down. There is no ventilation, no windows to open, or any way to let fresh air in unless you leave the front door open....which we did for quite awhile! I can't imagine trying to sleep in one of these domes in July or August!!! Also, there is nothing covering the full glass front door, so people walking by can see right in and it makes it more difficult to darken the room on a summer night. The dome is a novelty and a unique stay, but I think I'd opt for a nice comfortable hotel instead!!
Newer, clean and modern. Easy check in.

IcelandThe room needs a window to be more airy in the summer and needs to install an on/off switch for the heating system. I stay in doom number 4. When I get in the room, its very very hot, I have to open main door to decrease temperature. Waiting long time but it still hot, heating still open so floor in the room very hot, it burned my feet as I walked through it. Then I have to call manager of hotel to fix it, after 1 hour it better and the room became comfortable.
sefl check in so easy, room so clean.
