- Waited a very long time to be able to check in, nobody showed up for many minutes even after the person before us in line rang the bell. Several other weird encounters with staff. Including the sign that said "ask staff for towels if you need them", only to then have staff say "oh, just grab it from the pile over there" 🤷‍♂️ They need to be more empathetic with customers not possibly being able to know how things work around there. - The room was plenty spacious, but … oddly it had a sign that said we had to keep the heating on (in summer, when it was plenty warm!) but at the same time keep the windows open to prevent "steam" (they meant condensation). We did this … but woke up in the early morning because it had gotten way too hot when the sun was up! This was … very wasteful, and uncomfortable. - The hot water smelling of sulphur 😬

- In walking distance from the center of Reykjavik and the MSI bus terminal, for getting to/from the airport. - Ability to use the kitchen. - The breakfast was good!

You could buy your own food to heat up in the kitchen...which is a real money saver in Iceland!

External street noise by passersby was distracting when the windows were open to ventilate the room. Additionally, the shared bathroom was next to this room and added more noise when others were using it. Breakfast lacked yogurt.

Great location near downtown Reykjavik in a nice neighborhood. Helpful staff. Nice, simple breakfast.

Very small place and 1 bathroom for at least 5 Rooms. Overcrowed in the morning.

It was very noisy with people going in and out of the bathroom (we were right next to it) and locking and unlocking the many doors to get inside.

Breakfast was great, bedroom and bathroom were clean, although the bedroom was simple and somewhat small.

The wifi may well have been nonexistence. I had to use my phone to hotspot, mostly, from the top floor. After the first night, when I got a little wifi, there was no time where the wifi was able to be used. Breakfast has the potential to be good, but it depends when you show up. The second day I got there at about 8, and all the eggs were gone and weren't replaced.

It's a good location, easy check-in, and the room was fine. Great water pressure on the shower.

Lighting wasn't good in the room. The overhead light was dim and the reading lamp didn't work.

Simple and no nonsense. Loved there was a mini kitchen in the room. Comfortable bed. Great location.

bathrooms need a bit of a redo, not dirty but a bit worn out

small but sufficient room, it is quite in the main house than in the house at the corner, at least if you have the room going to the street in the house at the corner.

Shower and sink and toilet work, but a redo or refurbishing would be a proposal I'd like to make. Interior of the rooms: a picture or 2 would make it more at home.

Room was clean and spacious. The guesthouse offers accommodation in 2 different buildings, room was quiet in the original building, a bit noisy in the building 1 min. away, as it is located at the corner of a street.

Very close to the center of the city. Coffee 24/7 available. Very nice breakfast. Also near to the BSI bus terminal for the transfer to Keflavik airport. Very kind staff.

I don't think inrelaised at the time of booking the bathroom was shared but it was still fine.

The room and facilities were basic but I had everything I needed, the breakfast was great! Good location to the bus station as was walkable
