Since the house is very old and the walls are thin, it can be a bit noisy if the other guests are loud type.

This is a cozy little guesthouse, very clean, and the staff were very friendly! My room had a great view to the sea. It's very good value for money.

I feel the whole place needs a renovation. Beds were not that comfortable. We had a room at the ground floor, where the kitchen was close by. When we checked in , our room had the smell from kitchen. The heater in room was not working and the staff arranged another portable heater for us , which we had to manage in the already cramped room. Room has wardrobe, which cannot be fully opened due to lack of space. Bathrooms also could be better. Zero soundproofing! Also please note that the Kitchen is not usable for guests for cooking. All you can use is the tea/coffee, toaster, microwave, fridge, and kettle. Guests are allowed to sit in the restaurant to have food.

Owners of this place were really friendly. Its located pretty much in Blondous centre. We were able to find free parking spots right infront of the guest house.

Simple accommodation. The hotel has a pleasant atmosphere and attentive service, thanks to staff members. There is no elevator, so make sure you can take your luggage upstairs. Tea/coffee are available for guests and staff can store your food in the fridge.

The soundproofing was not really good. We could handle it but if you are sensitive to sounds, take earplugs.

Our room and common areas were clean. The room was small but we didn't need more for one night. Self check in was easy. I would recommend this place.

Walls are thin and so we could hear the main door opening and closing as well as people moving around in the hallway and stairs.

Excellent self check-in instructions, friendly woman greeted us and showed us to our room and provided information about bathrooms, kitchen and breakfast. Beds were comfy and room was perfect for our needs. Great option for a quick stay!

Only common area was in the restaurant. Felt a little awkward bringing our food but the host insisted it was fine.

The room was spacious and warm. Nice view out the window. Shared WC on our floor was very small but clean. One shower on main floor and two in the basement-great for getting your steps in. Host/owner was friendly. Very clean. Don't forget to take your shoes off at the door.

The hallway with several rooms had only one bathroom, so we often had to go downstairs for another bathroom.

The restaurant was the best part of this property. We ate dinner and breakfast there.

Could have had a little more sunshine!

Reviews for the guesthouse weren't very good so we were a little hesitant to stay there. But the reviews were so very wrong. It's not a 5-star hotel, but it was so much better. Comfortable with a wonderful mother and daughter who made our stay one of our favorite stays in all Iceland.

Clean and comfortable flat, with a nice view on the bay in front of the house. The kitchen had all the essential items. Our stay at the guesthouse was very nice.

Everything seemed fine, we didn't hear any other residents. The stairs were a bit creaky but we could not hear it from the room.

Breakfast was available to purchase but we didn't. (We wanted to get on the road) Coffee and tea were available whenever. The owner was very friendly and she told us to ask if we needed anything.

Just a few details on a building outside. Not finished reconstruction but thats not a big problem to stay.

The personal was great, a young lady take care of us very well. We had wonderful sight to the sea and place was close to the beach. The whole appartment was for us, pretty big, lots of windows, radiators. Nice place to sleep.

Restaurant space was cigarette smokey... possibly bc I was the only guest for the night and so the common/restaurant space smelled like cigarettes and this permeated to the rest of the house. Otherwise, excellent and very clean space. Please wake me.up if there are northern lights! Honestly not for fake hopes... I realize not easy to predict, but it was a main reason to be here. The likelihood of seeing the northern lights was a major draw for stopping and not driving through, so highlighting when these are available would be good.

The windows were a bit leaky, which was a bit problematic with the rain and storm outside but not too dramatic. Putting a towel in front of it helped ;)

I stayed there because there was a snow storm and the roads were closed - a real life saver! They were very nice and welcoming, offering also support and advice with the weather situation. The view from the room was great - ocean view! The room was small but comfortable and fitted a table and an arm chair in it. The toilet and bathroom was clean. Parking ouside on the street.
