Very close to the end of our hike so it was easy to walk to, clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The owner went above and beyond to help us with a lost item.

Guesthouse is located right beside the Skogafoss waterfall and is by far the most convenient place to stay if you are traveling on a budget. We wanted to camp nearby but the weather was terrible. fortunately this guesthouse still had space. The guesthouse is very clean and has all the necessities including a good equipped kitchen with a coffee machine and water boiler. Parking is right in front of the door and the beds are comfortable. the kitchen and diner area has a nice panoramic view of the surroundings.

The single room is too small & there is no hair-dryer in the bathroom. The water coming out of the faucet smells bad and The tablecloth near water tap on ketchen desk smells bad because it is not cleaned properly.

10 min walk to get to the Skogafoss waterfalls and from the windows of dining room the waterfall is seen at distance. good location and easily to to Vik town. Ketchen is basicly equipped and good for self cooking.

one of the bathroom with the shower curtain was just uncomfortable. the shower curtains kept sticking to me cos the space wasn’t big and the non-detachable shower head just sprayed everywhere but properly down.

We rushed to get there before 9pm check in and it turned out there was no one to check in with, the rooms were open and our names were on the board - which was great, but if we knew, we wouldn't have to rush (this isn't a complaint, more a clue for other guests) The shower in one bathroom needed fixing but it was useable

Amazing location, the rooms had new bed linen and looked like new beds, very nice kitchen and the patio with the waterfall view. We had 2 rooms and it was a great stay for all at a great price. Highly recommend!

The small old heater in the room needs to be upgraded so the whole room can be heated. Wires above the shower should be removed/hidden.

The room was empty: there was only the bed, two small storage poufs and a mirror. I would have appreciated at least bedside tables, lamps, a table with a chair...

I’m not sure if there was a follow up emails on checking in and out details and I check my emails often and even tried to search for one. We parked at where the sign is and no note of checking in but just walked in, saw our name with a number and minor details of house rules. We just put two and two together and figured it out. It doesn’t have that official confirmation of our room. The no interaction doesn’t bother me, but it would be nice to know how to “check-in”.

I booked a room with a private bathroom and it turns out there was only 1 room with a private bathroom. The guesthouse come up as having a private bathroom when booking, but since it only has one room with a private bathroom it's very deceiving. This was a very unpleasant experience and I had to book another room costing me double the price as I was charged even though I didn't stay in the guesthouse. Once I saw it was a shared bathroom I left. I didn't even enter the bedroom.

It was close to the falls. So location was perfect and easy to get too.

As it is sometimes in shared kitchens, guests are sometimes careless and leave food remainings in the sink and do not wash cups/dishes/cutlery properly. I presume that there is staff who cleans after them every day.

The location within walking distance from Skogafoss waterfall was great. There is a kitchen with several big tables where guest can prepare meals and eat comfortably. My room was functional and clean. Private parking for guests is just in front of the house.

There was no staff on site, the room was stuffy with hard to control temperature, room was too small. The property had serious problems with condensation which led to mold growth in both the bathroom and room window frames. Also, the place was very noisy.

I've never stayed in a "guest house" before and had a "learning experience". The shared bathroom(s) are out in the main assembly room between the bedrooms. No towels ... lucky I brought my own. The other guests were together and somewhat noisy until around 10:00 PM.
