- The night shift staff offered preMade “coffee” , available on the table , when checked in at 8:30pm , no limitations . A+ - The morning staff saying complement coffee is for the tiny tiny coffee cup only, not for the 16 oz contigo thermo bottle. coffee must be very strong here - Maybe there is no “complementary” morning coffee offer at this hotel??? however, staff was nice and did provide 3 pumps equivalent to the tiny tiny coffee cups :-)

Absolutely positive price for value, compared to prices in Reykjavik there's no comparison. It is true the room is a bit small, but sufficient for a couple of tourists.

Value for money. Motel style hotel in Reykjavik outskirts. Supermarket and bakery at 1 minute walk. Restaurants also nearby. Easy access to 1 Road.

Breakfast is provided but not in abundance like you might see in an European hotel. Remember that Iceland is remote and goods are costly. For me it's fine but if you are a specific eater you might need to search for breakfast somewhere else.

Nice small hotel, located close to highway 1. Enough space to park, quiet at night. No need to go far for dinner as Skalli is just around the corner. Room was nice, enough space and spotlessly clean.

- Pillows were very soft and small - Temperature in the room was bit cold and we couldn’t open the heater (nor the bathroom one) - Not super clean (especially around shower doors, heaters and windows) - Most TV channels were not English speaking and were locked - Wifi was so and so - Smallest sink, everytime we were using it we were making a mess

Super staff and loved the location for both city and other excursions around. Loved that they have black curtains and there was no sunlight coming in when closed - made it easy to sleep in Iceland. Value for money!

We travelled around Iceland and this hotel was our first one at the start and the last one before we left - so we had two stays in 10 days there. The owners are very nice and kind and try everything to make your stay there a good one. A little mistake with our bill on the first day was solved by the owners extremely fast and very accommodating and convincing. The house is new and very clean. Our room (which we had at both nights) was great enough, the bathroom was modern and convenient. Every part of our room was very clean and tastefully furnished. The breakfast was rich and left no wishes unfulfilled. Everything was fresh and tasty. If you want a hotel in the direct center of Reykjavik then this hotel might be a bit far away because you need a car to reach it - but as you will need and use a car in Iceland this is not a matter at all. We recommend the hotel Heidmörk without any limitations! If you stay there you will have a good time! Best wishes for this house and the two owners from Germany Michael and Christopher

I could use more amenities in the hotel room like a little fridge where i could store food. Next thing is my personal opinion and maybe the other didn't have any problem with it but I'd be very happy for bigger pilow. The one in the hotel room was very flat so i had to fold it to get some head support during sleep. It would be also fine if there was some solid soap or liquid soap dispenser in the bathroom for hand hygiene.

Good location and access. Free parking in a hotel parking lot. The hotel was clean and modern. These blackout curtains in a hotel room were really useful against the midnight sun when trying to fall asleep. Everytime I went back to my hotel room from a trip I noticed that it was cleaned up by a hotel staff.

The check-in can only be done till 21:00, which may be an inconvenience if your are arriving late in the day or your travel is affected by delays. Also, you need to call as the hotel does not respond to messages through Booking.com

I've stayed in a few places in Iceland and I don't find the beds comfortable but that is personal preference and not a dig on the property.

Staff (owners) are great. Super friendly and helpful. Breakfast there was great value and better than the bakery just a quick walk away (better as in healthier and good quality foods/options)
